[Jack's Point of View]
It's been three years since the battle. Everything has been going smoothly since the destruction of the Eagle Board. Aaron and I have been helping the traumatized captives, and help restore balance and peace.
Aaron is now washing his face near the banks of the river, while I'm sitting quietly under the shades of a tree near the river.
I am currently frustrated. I don't know what's gotten into me. There's just this huge lump of guilt that has been sucking the air out of my lungs. Guilty of not being able to prevent either Daniel or Madeline's death.
A leaf fall into my forehead, and I grabbed it. There is something written carefully on it. 'Look above you.'
My head tilts slowly, as I saw a flock of ravens gliding through the air elegantly. Half of me was amused, and half of me was confused. So I look at the leaf again to see the words fading away, and a new sentence appearing. 'Try to stop worrying. You're not guilty, okay?'
And that's when I smile as I stare at the ravens.
