Having just finished their shifts, Ramona and Simon are closing up shop. She waits for him to finish, then reaches for his hand when he does.
SIMON: Hungry?
RAMONA: Not really. I just don't want to go home yet.
Simon kisses her temple.
SIMON: Okay. Where do you wanna go?
He squeezes her hand.
RAMONA: Let's just walk.
CUT TO:
INT. LIBRARY – DAY
Ramona is writing her paper for school in between classes when her phone beeps. It's a text from Haley. She opens it and laughs; it's a photo of Simon looking sad. The caption:
FOUND: Lovesick boy.

Ramona sends Haley a quick reply.

INT. RAMONA'S DORM ROOM – NIGHT
Ramona and Simon sit on her bed, her laptop on his lap. She curls up next to him as their faces are illuminated by the film playing on the screen.
Simon kisses the top of her head.

INT. SALLY'S SANDWICH SHOP – DAY
Ramona is working her shift. Haley stayed behind to wait for Chloe and help around.
HALEY: You and Simon look like you guys are getting serious.
RAMONA: Really?
Haley nods.
RAMONA: We're just... taking it easy.
HALEY: He's so in love. It's crazy. He's like a puppy. You should see his face when he sees you. It lights up.
Ramona blushes.
HALEY: It's sweet. I'm happy for you.
Ramona smiles.
RAMONA: Thanks, Haley. How are you and—
HALEY: Chloe?
Ramona nods.
HALEY: Well, we're going on our third date soon, which is the most I've gone out with someone without getting bored with them.
RAMONA: That serious, huh?
Haley laughs.
HALEY: Shut up.
RAMONA: It's nice to see you like this, Haley. You look... happy.
Haley smiles.
HALEY: So do you. Everything's finally falling into place, huh?
RAMONA: Tell me about it.
