=====================================================
I let out a sigh of relief. That was a close one!
"I'll go let him out," I told Jin as I moved towards my closet.
"No, wait!". She ran down the stairs before I could ask her why. She came up a couple of minutes later with her hands behind her back.
"What do you have in your hands?"
"Nothing," she said innocently. A little too innocently, I might add.
I put my hands on my hips. "You're not fooling me. You better not have a knife or something behind your back."
She snickered. "It's not a knife but it'll hurt him just as much as a knife would."
"Jin... Show me. Now," I ordered her. I didn't want her to hurt a guy that I REALLY liked.
She slowly brought her hands to the front and in her hands were...
"Garlic??!!" I looked at her waiting for an explanation when it dawned on me why she would have garlic. Miss Crazy over there still did not believe that Luka was not a vampire. I let out a frustrated sigh and shook my head. Nothing I could say would change her mind at this point.
I strode over to the closet and opened the door to see Luka staring at me with a cheeky smile plastered on his face. I arched an eyebrow at him, questioningly.
"I was thinking that we could play '7 Minutes In Heaven'," he said, waggling his eyebrows. "There's plenty of space in here for the two of us."
I rolled my eyes. "In your dreams."
"I'll hold you to that," he said with a wink. I stuck my tongue out at him. Childish, yes; but satisfying. He chuckled and ruffled my hair.
I slapped his hand away. "Are you going to get out of my closet any time soon?"
"Oh, right." He stepped out of the closet and looked around. His eyes landed on Jin, or more specifically, the garlic in Jin's hand. He started screaming all of a sudden. I nearly jumped out of my skin thinking that there was something wrong with him.
"AAAAAAH!!! THE PUTRID STENCH OF GARLIC! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!", he shouted in a phony Transylvanian accent. I facepalmed myself. I DID NOT need Luka encouraging Jin's behaviour.
"AHA! I knew it!" Jin moved towards him, holding the garlic in front of her. "Back off, bloodsucker!!!"
I marched over to Jin, grabbed the garlic from her and pelted clove after clove at Luka. He screamed dramatically and staggered around for awhile before dropping to the floor in a heap.
"There! Your "vampire" is dead. Done. Finished. Swimming with the fishes."
Jin glared at me with her hands on her hips. "Even I know that was completely fake." She sighed. "I guess he's not a vampire after all."
"Fantastic observation, Sherlock," I said sarcastically.
"Okay, okay! No need to get all feisty with me." Jin walked over to Luka and nudged him with her foot. "You can stop pretending you're dead now."
