"Yea, I figured that part out by myself, I'm just wondering how, " I said, rolling my eyes at him.

"That's easy. I used my powers," he replied, waggling his fingers at me.

"Powers... Right..."

He grinned at me. " You don't believe me, do you?"

"Nope," I said, popping the'p'. I held out my hands and he pulled me to my feet.

"Okay, then, let me prove it to you." He waved his hand in the air and a bottle of water appeared. My eyes widened in surprise.

"Whoa! No kidding!"

He looked amused at my wonder. "I told you so".

I shook my head and said, "I keep forgetting that things like that can happen in dreams".

Luka didn't say anything. He uncapped the bottle and poured a little of the water on my arm to wash away the blood. There was only a red mark in the place of what was previously Miguel's bite wound.

"That'll only last for a couple of days or so", said Luka, rubbing his thumb on the red mark, in slow circles. "Then it'll be as though it never happened".

"Yea, but I'd still remember that it happened", I said looking into his eyes. "That you saved me from that wolf-guy, Miguel."

" It was no big deal", he said, his cheeks tinged a light shade of pink. "Miguel wouldn't have really killed you. Kamini wouldn't have allowed it."

I let out a humorless laugh. "Kamini? That weird girl? She was right there the whole time and she didn't stop him. I'm sure she would have allowed it. I remember her saying that it was 'fun'." I air-quoted the word 'fun'.

Luka shook his head. "If she'd let him kill you, she'd be banished. Acts like that are not tolerated here."

"Here? What do you mean by here? In my dreams?", I asked questioningly.

He shook his head yet again. "Aisling Freuverden".

"Ayce-whuuut?"

He repeated the word.

"Speak... Slowly... In... English", I said, uttering every word as slow as possible.

He chuckled. "Dream world. If I say it in English, it's dream world."

I facepalmed myself. "Then why didn't you say so before! Instead of saying that ayce-stuff!"

"Because that's its proper name."

"Well it's a mouth full. What language is it in anyway?"

He shrugged. "I don't know".

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You didn't make it up to tease me , did you?"

"No, no, no... Of course not. It's a real word. Well it is here, but not in the real world."

"Then how come you don't know the language?" I shot at him.

"Because the language has long since been forgotten. Are you done with your questions now?". He gave me a cheeky grin.

"For now", I said, sticking my tongue out at him. "Repeat the name, slowly. I want to try saying it."

"Ayce-Ling Freu-Ver-Den. Just pronounce 'Freuverden' in a slightly French way."

"Aisling Freuverden", I said, testing the word. Luka nodded to show that I pronounced it right. "You're right. The name fits all of this", I said, gesturing my hand to include everything around us. "It sounds sort of magical".

"Like you," he said, taking my hand in his and drawing me closer. I blushed at his compliment.

Just then, I felt a familiar tingling, which meant that the dream was about to end and I was about to be dragged back to reality. I let out a huge sigh.

"What's wrong?" Luka asked, looking concerned,

"I have to go", I admitted, reluctantly.

He smiled. "That's okay, then. 'Cause I'll see you later." He kissed me lightly on my forehead.

I reeled from the kiss ( even though it wasn't a kiss on my lips ). "Later?"

"Yes. At school." He grinned.

My eyes widened. "Wait... What??"

The next instant, I was back in my bed.
