The first thing I did was to roll back the sleeve of my pajama top to look at my arm.

And there it was. Clear as day.

A red mark where the ( now healed ) bite wound had been. A bite wound from a silver wolf that could turn into a guy.

So had it all just been a dream, ( and the red mark was the result of an attack from a ferocious, bloodthirsty mosquito ) ; or had it actually been real?

Only one way to find out!

I'll have to meet Luka and if he confirms it, then I'll know that last night had been real. If it hadn't , well, then I'm probably going nuts...

I got out of bed and rushed through the daily routine. A quick shower later, I was bounding down the stairs ( fully clothed, of course, in a black tank top and my favorite pair of jeans ) to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Good morning, mum!~", I said, as I entered the kitchen. My Mum put down the book she was reading and took a sip of her coffee as she stared at me.

"Are you telling that it's a good morning, or that it's a morning to be good on, or -"

"Ugh, MUM!! Not this again", I said as I rolled my eyes. " You KNOW what I mean". I pulled out a carton of orange juice from the fridge and poured myself a glass.

My mum smirked. "But it's fun!"

I shook my head at her. "Whatever floats your boat, mum."

I took a sip of my OJ and immediately spit it out. "YUCK! What the HELL!?" It tasted horrible!!

"Annaleise! No cursing!"

"Sorry!" I said sheepishly. "I wasn't thinking."

"Clearly".

I took a look at the carton and say that the expiry date had passed. That's why it tasted horrible. I dumped the remaining OJ down the sink and threw away the carton.

"So what are you going to do today?" I asked my mum. It has her day off.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe -"

And that was when we heard the screaming.

Not the''HELP! I'M DYING!!'' kind of scream. More like the "OMG!! SOMETHING AWESOME JUST HAPPENED!!" kind of scream.

Mum and I looked at each other, and ran out to see what it was all about...
