Hoseok slid his fingertip across the page, flipping through the album of photos Mrs. Wilson had bought him five years ago. Jimin had already left that morning as he was called for the flower shop, to finalize some stuff. So Hoseok was left alone, between four walls, wandering through their memories with Mrs. Wilson.
As he flicked through the pages, his hands stopped at a particular page that contained a photo of all three of them. He still remembered that time very vividly. At the time, Mrs. Wilson took them to see the galleries of the 'Carnegie Museum of Art,' and Jimin had taken dozens of pictures. However, with Mrs. Wilson being in the picture too, that was Hoseok's favorite. And though the background had an artwork symbolizing darkness, Mrs. Wilson's grin was effervescent. Her eyes sparkled as a few wrinkles surrounded her smile- she seemed happy. In fact, all three of them did.
Suddenly, a knock startled him. He shifted his gaze away from the photo and set the album down on the table beside his chair. He pulled himself to his feet and headed for the door. He didn't bother to look, just opened the door on its hinges.
Behind the now opened door, stood a young man, that seemed to be in his early twenties, with a beaming smile on his face. He was quite tall with blonde hair and jet black eyes.
He extended his arm and greeted, "Hello, my name's Nate. I'm your new neighbor, nice to meet you!" Hoseok shook his hands and smiled warmly.
"Hi, Nate! I'm sorry I didn't come to introduce myself earlier. I'm Hoseok!"
"No problem. I came myself to greet you and invite you over for lunch,"
"Now?"
"Yes, of course,"
"Ok," replied Hoseok before rushing inside to grab his phone then going back and shutting the door after him. Hoseok followed Nate to his house, which was two square feet away from his own.
Stepping inside, Hoseok sucked in a lungful of air and broke into an epic coughing fit. Face creasing in distress at the sudden attack of unfamiliar food scents, he clutched his chest like he's dying. The wheezes of his breath daunted Nate as he raced back to Hoseok and asked if he's ok.
Hoseok ignored his question as he thrust his phone into Nate's hand and breathed, "Call Jimin."
Nate immediately sprung into action and started searching for Jimin's contact name. When he found it, he instantly called.
"Hello... It's not Hoseok, its Nate, his neighbor... Please drive here now, urgently... Two squares away from Hoseok's... Just come!" Nate yelled the last phrase into the phone before ending the call.
He then carried Hoseok into the house -ignorantly- to which, Hoseok instantaneously passes out in his arms. That baffled Nate, but he didn't know what else to do, so he just placed Hoseok on his bed, called a friend of his -who is a doctor- and waited wearily for Jimin's arrival.
While that was happening, the urgency in Nate's voice alarmed Jimin as he ran out of the shop and to his designated location, puzzled with the current situation and worried over his friend.
