Sitting on the round breakfast table in pleasant silence, Hoseok and Jimin munched on their cereal. Then as Hoseok was about to serve himself some more, Jimin spoke, halting Hoseok's steps, "By the way, I already called the doctor for you and booked us a hotel room near the hospital." Hoseok nodded and continued on his way to serving himself another bowl, silently. Later once done eating, they moved to start packing their bags.

Folding his shirts and placing them on his stack of clothes, Hoseok hasn't noticed Jimin's eyes following him. To Jimin, Hoseok's suddenly quiet and dull behavior was odd. Jimin hated this new version of Hoseok that showed up after yesterday's discussion about the clinical trial. He loved the chaotic, cheerful and robust Hoseok. He loved the Hoseok that would enter any room and uplift the aura in a matter of seconds, and the Hoseok that acted like a five-year-old child just to excite the atmosphere. Jimin yearned for his Hobi.

When they arrived at the hotel, their jaws fell to the floor. They gawked at how luxurious the interior looked. The ceilings were ridiculously high-vaulted, and the marble floor across the way was covered in a rectangle of luxurious eggshell carpet swirled through with deep violet. A glimmering crystal chandelier dangled from the high-up cling, sending purplish-tinted light flooding the space. The entire room reeked of extravagance.

"Jimin, are you sure you didn't accidentally book the president's room?" Hoseok dazed. Jimin laughed at that, glad that Hoseok finally spoke to him, and liked the room he picked.

However, the glee and contentment seemed short-lived as they soon morphed into angst and tremor. Suddenly, Hoseok abruptly stumbled on the carpet edge and faceplanted onto the floor with an alerting thud.

Jimin rushed towards Hoseok's unconscious body, and instantly carried him and sprinted out of the room. He heard gasps and noticed some horrified faces on his way out of the hotel and on the street. Nonetheless, his flabbergasted brain only permitted with racing to the hospital, it didn't even allow him to notice Hoseok's gushing head.

Fortunately, the hospital was only a few blocks away from the hotel, so it took him no time to arrive. Then as he hasted, Dr. Wexler noticed him and his gaze immediately dropped to the bleeding Hoseok. His eyes widened at that, and he ordered the nurses to take Hoseok to the ER as fast as possible. The nurses obliged and took Hoseok away, leaving Jimin feeling alone and miserable. The doctor followed the nurses' suit, yet not even minutes later... Jimin witnessed Hoseok being escorted to the surgical wing.

The nurses were darting, and the doctor was hastening, everyone was racing towards the surgical department. To say the least, it looked like pure madness!
