Cautiously standing up, Hoseok leaned on Jimin for support. Jimin laced their arms together and slowly assisted Hoseok onto taking a step with his left foot first.

"Here... slowly," encouraged Jimin gently as he took a few footsteps of his own and gestured for Hoseok to follow suit. Then with a couple more steps, Hoseok maintained his balance and began walking normally, but still leaned on Jimin.

They strolled around the hospital's garden for a while until Hoseok grew tired and pulled Jimin to settle on a nearby bench. They remained in silence for sometime before Hoseok reminisced the past.

"Jimin, I never really said this before, but I seriously have no idea what I'd do without you," Hoseok said, ever so softly. So, in turn, Jimin frowned and hugged him, welcoming him into his embrace.

"You see...with all the Jungs have done to me, I never dared to picture someone like you, visualize a moment so precious, or even daydream about all the memories we've created together. With every smack, every scolding, I would cry my eyes out, only for the pain to intensify. I always craved a phenomenon like you, but I was never allowed to seek it. Your kindness was indeed what ushered me out of the hell I lived in," Hoseok managed to say amongst his sobs that heightened when he mentioned his parents.

"Shh...they're gone now," Jimin said, "weren't you happy with Mrs. Wilson? I mean, come on, she babied you more than her cat, Lousy!"

Hoseok chuckled quietly before asking, "You think she's still watching over us?"

"Of course, she is," Jimin whispered next to Hoseok's ear as he caressed his back. They remained in that position for some more before getting back on their feet and heading inside.

Then, as they entered Hoseok's hospital room, they were stunned to see Taehyung already in there. And when he noticed them come in, he beamed widely, his grin extending from ear to ear.

"What are you doing here?" Hoseok questioned softly.

Taehyung pouted before saying, "I came to visit you, I missed both of you."

"Pardon me, but we don't know you very much," Hoseok replied, earning a flick on the back of his head from Jimin.

But suddenly, a knock on the door sounded, interrupting them.

"Good afternoon gentlemen, where is Jung Hoseok?" asked a handsome, young man. His soft black hair, dark brown eyes, slightly pigmented lips, and perfectly sculpted body definitely didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung as he intensely eyed the man from top to bottom.

"Yes, that's me," answered Hoseok.

"Ok, so, I am here to let you know that you can leave now, but have to come back next week to begin the radiation therapy. It will be five days a week for almost two months, and I will be your radiation oncologist. I'm Dr. Min Yoongi," he announced before cooly exiting the room.

Hoseok smirked when he noticed Taehyung gazing at the doctor as he left, and teased, "Talk about checking someone out."

"You're so lucky such a gorgeous guy gets to be your oncologist," Taehyung shamelessly said, his voice suddenly ten times huskier.

Both Jimin and Hoseok fell into a fit of laughter at the sudden change in Taehyungs sweet and innocent demeanor, marking the beginning to a very long afternoon filled with mirth and glee, and a newly born friendship.

Later that night, Jimin returned back to the hotel, but finally with a semi-healed Hoseok. He was really excited to have Hoseok to sleep in the extremely luxurious room he had booked, without any incidents that led back to the hospital.

"No, but seriously, are you sure this isn't the president's room," Hoseok joked when Jimin was fully enveloped in his arms.

"Shut up and sleep, Hobi," laughed Jimin against Hoseok's chest as he was falling asleep.
