Hoseok sat tensely in the examination room, waiting for that one may enter and supply him with clarification as to why he's in a cancer center.

When he first arrived at his cardiologist's office -yesterday- to check up on the suspicious lump on his left calf, he was immediately sent to the physician. Then after a quick examination of the lump, the doctor ordered a CT (computed tomography) scan for that same evening. The results of the CT scan showed that the mass was not a sore, but further testing was required to see if it was fatal. Therefore, the physician scheduled another test for the next morning at a cancer center near Jimin's renovated shop. Needless to say, Hoseok's anxiety was beyond humanly possible. He didn't know what to expect from a test result in such a place.

Eventually, the doctor arrived, with a questionable frown. The type of frown that screams 'Bad News.' Thus, Hoseok's fidgeting intensified.

"Unfortunately, you might be diagnosed with a cancerous cell. Thereupon, we're going to need a biopsy for confirmation and to recognize the form of cancer in advance," said the doctor. Hoseok just nodded, unable to speak. The outrageous news demolished his composure and numbed his ability to function properly. Thus, face down and miserable, he left the unbearable room.

Wandering absentmindedly on the streets of Pittsburgh, Hoseok hadn't realized that nighttime hit town and the moon arose through the sky. Neither did he realize that he was in front of his dance studio.

It was only when he stumbled on the first step that he awoke from his blankness. Then deciding that he didn't want to go back home and face Jimin yet, Hoseok entered his dance studio. He switched the lights on, plugged his phone to the sound system and played 'Help Me' by NU'EST W.

As the music started, he closed his eyes and immediately spread his wings of passion. With his mind, Hoseok flew to the land that no one but Jimin was to know of. The land of sorrowful memories.

If anyone were to barge in on him, they'd see nothing, and feel nothing. However, to Hoseok's submerged mind, all frames, physiques, and shadows of his reminiscence were surrounding him in that exact room in forms of golden specks and twinkling traces. He first could see two adults offering their child nothing but malice and hatred. Then, he saw the same child being embraced by his friend in a deep corner of a park, whilst crying his heart out.

Afterward, an illusion of the gloom and despair caused by his parents alongside the virtue of his friend's devotion appeared as he spun around. Soon after, everything disappeared as he stopped dancing when tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling down his face.

"I can't tell Jimin, at least not now," he sobbed, loudly.

The roaring of his parents' constant scolding chanted in his ears like a melody of trauma. Hoseok was aggrieved and aching. He was once a child motorized by parents that loathed his birth. He lived in torment for years before meeting Jimin, the glowing beam of his life. The guide to his euphoria, and his savior from corruption.

Jimin, Hoseok's best friend and brother.
