PLEASE READ!!

Righty o, before we get started with this chapter I just want to tell you all about the two most amazing x reader books I've encountered so far. And I really recommend that you check them out, I love them so much.

This fic is a merman bakugou x reader, and I love it so much!! It's so detailed!

So yea, please go check them out I've read both of them multiple times and I still freak out.
Anywho on with the chapter!

"Who you fighting next Izuku??"
He didn't look up, instead he continued to mumble about something.
"OI! Twat face!" You say
You make a tiny rock in the palm of your hand and throw it at Izuku.
He jolts when the rock makes contact and stares at you wide eyed.
"Who you fighting next??"
"O-oh! Well I'm fighting shinso!"
"Hmm, I don't know what his quirk is but it has something to do with talking"
You run your fingers through your hair and sigh
~he's staring at you~ Daku says in your mind
You look up and give Izuku a small smile.
(I can't remember exactly what happens and it's too late to check so I'm gonna Wing it)
A bell goes signaling the next battle is about to start.
"That's me"
Izuku stand up and starts heading for the door, before he gets any further you grab him but the wrist and bring him in for a kiss.
"You're gonna do great out there"
Izukus cheeks dust themselves in red and he gives you a big smile.
"You have to fight Ochaco after right??"
"Eh. Don't remind me"
Your expression falls until Izuku moves strands of hair behind your ear, he then cups your cheek and plants a soft kiss on your forehead.
"I'm rooting for you"
With that he left the room. You wanted to feel his touch again but you didn't want to bother him any more before the match.
So instead you sat down and started coming up with plans on how to win. Daku materialises Behring you and starts to speak.
"You know she's way weaker than you right??"
"Yea but that doesn't change the fact that she may have really good strategies"
Daku scoffs and phases through the middle of the table. She continues to phase through things for a few more seconds before you decide to head out and watch Izuku.
You motion for Daku to follow you and she obeys, you make your way down the corridor and find a seat between Denki and bakugou.
"Hey Y/N! You excited to see Izuku win??" Denki says
"Shut up dunce face, that nerd won't even get close to winning"
You gasp and slap bakugous arm while giving him a death glare.
"Tch, fine. There's a slight possibility that he'll win"
"That's better"
"Start!!" Present mic shouts
You smile at bakugou and watch the battle begin.

It looked as if shinso and Izuku were talking until Izuku starts moving forward picking up the pace as he goes, then he just stops, Just frozen still.
"What is he doing!" You whisper in a panick
"Midoriya! The match just started and he's frozen in place! He's got a blank look on his face and isn't moving a muscle"
Izuku continued to stand there, but a few seconds later he slowly turns around and starts heading for the edge of the ring.
"That's his quirk!! Brainwashing!
Oh my god I can't believe I didn't notice it before!" You coot Izuku and start mumbling to yourself, and debating weather or not Izuku can stop just in time.
Izukus foot is just about to touch the white line when a massive gust of wind explodes around him.
Your eyes went wide and you stand up quickly.
"He stopped himself just before the line"
Your mouth is slightly agape "incredible"
You continue to watch in awe.
You couldn't really see but by the way shinso was moving he seems surprised aswell, I mean who wouldn't be??
Izuku and shinso remained immobile for a short period of time.
You heard the faint sound of shinso yelling, probably asking what the hell Izuku did to break the trance.
Izuku then starts to race toward shinso, you continue to hear faint yelling clmign from the purple haired boy.
Once Izuku reaches shinso he grabs his shoulder, but shinso punches him in the gut and tears Izukus hand away from him. He started to push Izuku closer to the white line when something incredible happens.
Izuku grabs shinso by the wrist and tosses over his shoulder and out of bounds.
You stand up and start screaming.
"Holy shit that was incredible!!!!!"

When you see Izuku you bring him in for a massive hug.
"Izuku you were amazing! That was so cool!"
Izuku just laughs while thanking you.
"Now it's your turn to be amazing"
He kisses your forehead once more "go on, go bear her ass"
You giggle and head into the room you go before the match starts.

You were now in the centre of the ring, staring face to face with the bitch who ruined everything. Daku gave her powers to you so now you were certain you couldn't lose.
Ochaco takes a running start and heads straight for you a look of pure hatred clouding her eyes.
You tear chunks from the ground and try and block her from getting any closer, while you were really good with long range attacks close ranges weren't really your style. So it was best to keep her as far away as possible, however she did manage to dodge most of your attacks and land a few punches on you here and there.
An idea sprung itself to mind and you gave Ochaco a mischievous smile.
Your back erupted with fire and the flames slowly started taking the shape of wings.
"This better work" you mumble
You jumped in the air and imagined the fire working as actual wings. It worked and you were now soaring through the air.
~you're using up a lot of energy with that~ Daku says
You don't respond, instead you drop yourself to the ground and make the wings disappear
"Now wasn't that just a beautiful sight! Y/N used her fire to create wings! What an intimidating angel!" Mic shouts with too much enthusiasm
The crowd roars with excitement and you smile to yourself.
You collapse to one knee and a pain shoots itself through your leg.
"Shit I landed weirdly"
Ochaco took this opportunity to make the ground beneath you float.
"I can't use the wings again other wise all my strength will drain!"
You start to panick. "Shit!"
Before you could realise it you had started creating an ice path leading toward the ground, you get up and slide down it.
You made it safely to the ground and decide to do something risky, you'll have to attack at close range.
You use wind to propel yourself toward the brown haired girl. you were really close to winning in that moment but What happened next went in slow motion, Ochaco gave an evil grin and started to reach for something in her pocket. Your eyes widen in fear at the sharp silver eobject she pulled out.
You tried to move out of the way but you were to late, Ochaco plunged the knide into your side and threw you over the line, But she wasn't done, Ochaco sat herself on top of you and plunged the knife into your stomach multiple times. All while laughing like an absolute maniac. She got one last hit right into the chest before she was ripped off of you by midnight who then produced the violet coloured mist to put ochaco to sleep.
Aizawa was the first one to get to you, he picked you up bridal style and rushed you to the nurses office. Not long after that you lost consciousness.

"I'm sorry sir but it's not looking good, a stab wound was incredibly close to the heart. I'm not sure if she'll make it"
You open your eyes a bit to see a bakugou yelling and a doctor, your eyes trail down to see a puffy eyed Izuku staring out the window.
"Goddammit she has to make it! What's the chance she'll survive!!"
Toshinori quickly rushes to your side and cups your cheek.
"Y/N you're awake! Thank god!"
Bakugou stops yelling and snaps his head towards you, Izuku does the same.
"Oh my god! You had me so worried!"
Izuku starts to sob while gripping your hand in his.
"Y/N! Holy fuck I thought we were gonna lose you!"
Toshi, Izuku and bakugou kept rambling on about how much they love you, and soon after Denki comes in and joins the conversation, everyone was having a really good time. You guys were giggling and talking about futures and becoming pro heroes. But one thing was bothering you, every now and then your heart would miss a few beats and everything would go numb, you ignored it and still continued with conversation. Before you new it you had started to lose vision and and movement, your grip on Izukus hand had started to slip.
Izuku noticed and told everyone.
"Y/N?? you're okay right??"
"Y-yea, I'm f-fine"

Izuku POV

"Y-yea, I'm f-fine"
I was going to say something but Y/N's grip on my hand had completely gone and the monitor had flatlined.
Everything went fuzzy I could barely hear or feel, all i saw were doctors rushing in and try to bring Y/N back to life.

But it didn't work.......
