The next day When I woke up, I felt a huge pain on my head as if someone had pounded it with a hammer last night. Groaning aloud, I got up and horrified looking at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes were bloodshot red and the rest of my face was just as swollen. Splashing some water on my face, I finished my morning routine and changed into some decent clothing. Making up the face with some make up to reduce puffiness of eyes, As I descended down the stairs his eyes met mine and we ended up glaring at each other for a moment.

Before I could ask him my questions, I heard a voice calling out his name and it was Sherly. On approaching further she kissed him on his cheek while he hugged her. I felt jealously ripple inside me but then regretted when she greeted me kindly with her warm gesture.

Why is she so nice to me, I find her to be too innocent, sh** I can't even hate her

"Good morning guys", I heard a stern voice and it was Wincy.

"so mam, when can we start the discussion about arrangements?", I enquired her.

"After the breakfast, I guess" she shrugged.

*****

"ok, so first of all, how many guests will be there?", I enquired Wincy holding up a notebook and a pen.

"uh... I guess around 1000 in total"

Arg! its quite a lot to manage

"So is it going to be a Hindu traditional wedding or christen type wedding?"

"both. Morning at church christen type wedding and evening at house traditional Hindu type wedding"

"flowers?"

"White Orchids. Its Gautham favorite", Sherly said in a loud voice. " for evening get some roses", added Wincy.

"color scheme?"

"Gautham, would you like to choose them?", Sherly asked turning towards Gautham. But he was busy filled enough with deeper thoughts not noticing her. Later when Sherly shook him up and brought him back to the reality he just left the place with an excuse that "I am not good at choosing this stuff, better you decide them". Later I suggested blue and white which once Gautham has told me before.

"any special cuisine in the catering?"

"Indian, Chinese, continental"

"what about the traditional things you follow doing the wedding?"

"we will talk about that once both the family members arrive her"

"then, I will get started with the work", I took my leave and processed on with my work.

As days passed on I indulged myself more into work, busy enough for me to stop noticing Gautham. It was late night almost 12, while I was busy organizing my boss's schedule, I was startled on hearing some noise of things falling down. I felt someone's presence in the corridor. Within I could think about anything further I heard a knock on the door. The sound of the knock and the atmosphere was no less than a horrifying scene from horror movie.

On holding a lamp stick for my safety, I released the lock of the door and opened it. But I found no one. After a few minutes of deep thoughts, I peeked out to look out at either of the sides. I sighed in relief on realizing no one's presence. Suddenly a hand stretched out from my behind and covered up my face with a cloth. I hit the guy right on his head with the lamp stick in the attempt of freeing myself. After a few hits, the guy fell down with a loud thud and cried louder causing a huge scene waking up everyone. As he mumbled in pain I found the voice to be familiar.

On hearing noise, everyone at the mansion rushed upstairs and Gautham was the one to reach there immediately as if he was waiting at the door step for me to scream. When everyone stood stunned startled, he punched the guy right at his face with much rage as if I was his girlfriend. after a few blows, I stopped him and requested to reveal his face.

P.C: while it was almost 11.50 pm Gautham walked upstairs to meet Keerthi but then returned back to his room on reminiscing his memories with Aravind whishing her to have a great year ahead through his prayers.
