Lapis' POV

Fuck their here I said inside my head as soon as I saw them outside I quickly ran into the living room were the others sat. I sat next to Peridot and tryed not cry. Peridot rapped her arm around me and said "don't worry the Police are in the next street across. I will not let you be taken by that man. " I sat with the group in silence as we waited guns in hand Amethyst, Pearl, Ruby and Sapphire all had guns locked and loaded sat behind a turned over sofa for protection. Peri and I had pistols and were sat in the bathroom next to the front door of the flat ready for the ambush. Soon we heard a noise from the bar downstairs chairs and tables being nocksd over the bar being raided by my father and Jasper. "This way!" I heard Jasper yell and start to climb the stairs towards the flat. Slowly the door opened and a shot was fired by Jasper into the window opposite the door "oh Lapis you have a visitor and you should know by now that he doesn't like waiting. " I stopped breathing Peridot walked out of the bathroom and stop behind Jasper with her not knowing it. "Bang" Peri's gun shot into Jasper's leg and Jasper screamed in pain "little bitch" she then began to fire all around the room Peridot ran behind the sofa and then everyone started firing their guns. Some of my father's Men came in and started shooting at the sofa from behind the door. Amethyst hit one in the arm. Pearl shot the other in the knee. I pressed the button that the police gave us inorder to call them in but they were going to drive a normal car and have no sirens go off. I soon heard something that stopped all of the gun fire. A voice. My father. I listened and looked through the crack in the door and saw  my father with his gun in one hand and in the other Peridot. "So Lapis I guess this is your new girlfriend from what Jasper tells me. " I wanted to shot him. I wanted to scream. "So Lapis if you don't want your girlfriend to get killed then come out!" I wanted to save her but I just kept on looking at the police tracker and saw they were almost outside. "Lapis! you know I don't like waiting!" I just need a little more time why can't these police men just hurry up. "Lapis she will die if you do not come out now! " I was crying but then the tracker said the police were down stairs. Gunshots fired and men screamed as they ran back to their cars. The police came up and nocked the gun out of Jasper's hand and she was handcuffed and taken out by the police officer. But with father it was a different situation. "Please sir let the girl go." The police man said as he walked closer to my father. "Not until I get the money from my daughter. " I opened the door I couldn't take this anymore I needed him out of my life.
"You can have the money. " I said he looked at me and smiled letting go of Peridot. I caught her quickly and sat her next to Amethyst. "Hello father." I said looking towards him "why so formal sweetheart. " he said smiling "because a father and a dad are two different things. Now take him away. " I said to the policeman and he handcuffed my father "wait what about the money! " he shouted and the police pulled tightly on him. "Sir you have the right to remain silent but don't worry as along as Lapis signs off her money to you. You can collect it after your prison sentence. "
He was taken away and I helped turn the sofa back over. "I'm sorry about all of this. Peri. " I said as me and her got on the sofa and cuddled. "No it's fine your safe now and that's all I care about. " I cuddled up to her and smiled into her chest. I kissed her cheek and said "I love you Peridot. " she laughed and said "you must do if your willing to give up millions to save my life. " I laughed and she kissed me "but I love you too Lapis. "
