Harry's POV

An hour had passed and I layed panting on the floors of Draco's bedroom. I was hoping this wouldn't kick in until I got home, but luck just isn't on my side.

I slowly sat up and pulled out my wand and began to heal myself.

None of my potions are with me, so that will just have to wait till I got home.

Damn it! How am I supposed to go on living like this?! I can't even have a normal evening without my life crumbling before me.

It was wrong of me to push Draco away like that, but what other choice do I have? I can't tell him what's wrong, he'll just be disgusted with me. This is my one chance to actually have a normal life with someone, but how do you do that when you're cursed?

I sighed. Now is not the time to ponder over this. I stood up and scorgified the floor and my clothes.

A new burn laid across my cheek that would not heal. Great. Just great.

Oh well. I can't hide in here any longer. I lifted the charms I put around the room and made my way down stairs.

"Draco?" I called out once I made it down the flight.

Three heads popped up from the couch.

"Harry? Are you alright?" He came over to me and gasped. "There's a burn on your face! How did you get that?!" He pulled me to sit down on the couch and grabbed his wand before inspecting my face.

"It's a long story. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen." I looked down towards my hands that sat in my lap.

"You're fine, you just had me worried sick about you." Draco grabbed my chin and angled it in a certain position before mumbling some sort of spell.

Instantly I felt the burning sensation leave my cheek.

"Thanks." I smiled at him. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry any of you."

"Do you want to talk about it?" He sat down next to me.

"I can't. Not right now. Teddy? Are you alright?" I looked over at my Godson.

"I'm alright. You?" He asked.

"Of course." I smiled lightly at him.

"Harry. I know you might not trust me, or anything, but I do mean it when I say I'm worried. You didn't look fine an hour ago and I only mean well."

I looked up and made eye contact with Draco. "It's not that. It's just not something I like talking about."

"Why? I'm a healer, surely I could help."

I shook my head at him. "Not with this. Trust me."

He frowned. "Alright, well do you have any where else that hurts so I can at least heal those for you?"

I thought about it for a moment. I do have that deep gash on my inner arm that's still bleeding.

Well. At least he's not pushing me. I rolled up my sleeve to my black jacket.

Draco gasped. His eyes went wide before he grabbed my forearm and inspected it.

"How on Earth did you get a wound like that?!"

I shrugged my shoulders at him.

He sighed before doing more incantations and the wound soon closed up.

"Thank you. I'm quite terrible at healing magic, so that helps a lot." I gave him a gratefull smile.

"Yes, well. I'm happy to help, but please don't hesitate to come to me for anything. I'm not the person I used to be back when we were in school and I hope you don't see me that way anymore."

Draco looked away from me. I grabbed onto his arm. "Of course I don't! I know you've changed a lot. I'm happy to see you so free and positive about life, unlike back in school. In fact, I've made quite the impression of you with Hermione and she would love it if we all got together over the holidays and maybe patch some things up between all of us."

He looked at me. "Really?" I nodded. He smiled lightly at me. "That would be amazing. I do owe her and Weasley an apology after everything I've said."

"Well then, I'll get it arranged, but know. We don't blame you for the past. We all were under a lot of pressure back then. It's time for all of us to move on." I told him. "I better get Teddy home. Will I be seeing you two tomorrow?" I stood up.

Draco stood up with me. "Yes! Please dad!" Scorpius and Teddy shouted at the same time.

Draco and I both chuckled. "I think you have your answer." He said.

"I guess so. See you both then. Let's go Teddy and thanks again, Draco."

We waved them off at the end of his property before apparating to our home.

The two of us headed inside and sat on the couch in the living room.
"Dad?"

"Yes, Teddy?"

"I'm sorry."

I looked down at my Godson. "What are you apologizing for?"

"Well, when you had your episode. Mr. Draco wanted to take care of you. I held him back. I was afraid you didn't want him to and I accidentally let slip that you're ill. I'm sorry. It wasn't on purpose!" His hair flashed bright green.

"Teddy. I'm not mad at you. It's ok. I promise. I should've been more careful about that, I lost track of time. I never want you to blame yourself if something like this happens again because Teddy, whether I like it or not, people are going to find out."

"But the two of you used to hate each other. I thought out of all the people to know, you wouldn't want him knowing."

"Granted I was nervous at first, but when I came back out, he helped heal me and didn't push me. I appreciate that from him. Teddy you got to understand that we're no longer teenagers. What happened in the past belongs exactly where it is. In the past. Draco and I are getting along very well. More so than I thought we would." Teddy smiled at me.

"So are you two friends now?" He asked. His hair turning white.

I chuckled lightly. "I guess we can call ourselves that. Yes."
