Harry's POV

The four of us arrived at the doors to St. Mungo's about an hour later from when Draco left.

I went straight up to Ron's room, Rose sitting on my hip and the boys trailing behind. I put Rose in Teddy's arms and had them sit and wait in the waiting room. Then turned on my heels and entered Ron's room.

Ron was pale, a bandage wrapped on his head, his arm in a sling.

"'Mione?" I called to the lump in the chair next to him.

"Harry?" She turned and face me. Her eyes were still red and face pale.

She stood and I engulfed her in a hug. "How is he?" I asked.

"He woke up late last night. They gave him something to help him sleep and he's been out since."

"That's good at least. It means he's gonna be alright." I smiled reassuring her.

She smiled back. "Yeah. How's Rose?"

"She's doing fine. Slept through the night and had breakfast this morning. Teddy's watching her right now." I told her. The two of us went over and sat in the chairs. Hermione in the closest one to Ron.

"Thank you Harry. I know how much you wanted to see him last night."

"It's what needed to happen. Rose didn't need to be here, it would've only stressed her out."

She nodded her head in agreement. "'Mione? Harry?" A small voice called.

We focused on Ron's bed and noticed his eyes were open.

"Ron!" I sighed out of relief. Seeing my friend awake is all the reassurance I need.

"Hi." He said gently cracking a small smile.

He reached over and grabbed 'Mione's hand. "I'm alright, baby. Just a little bruised." He whispered to her as a tear fell.

Someone entered the room and I turned behind me to find Draco.

"Ah. You're awake Mr. Weasley." Draco said formally.

"Yes. Hermione said that you're the one who treated me. Thank you.... Draco."

Draco's eyes widened before a smile spread across his face. "No, it's the least I could do." He replied.

"Harry's right. You've turned into a modest git." Ron chuckled lightly to himself.

He turned his gaze on me. "You've talked about me?" He asked moderately surprised.

"Of course I have. Why wouldn't I?"

"Harry. Did you forget to ask him about Sunday?" Hermione asked accusingly.

I smiled shyly and rubbed the back of my head. "I didn't forget. I was going to ask him yesterday, but that didn't happen."

"Ask me what?" I turned my focus back on Draco.

"If you and Scorpius would like to join us for tea Sunday?" It came out as a question.

His smile only widened. "I would love to." Then he frowned. "What about everyone else, are they ok with me tagging along?" He seemed to grow slightly nervous.

"Or course! How could we not after the way Harry praised over you!"

"Hermione!" I hissed in embarrassment.

He smirked wildly at me and my face grew more flushed.

"If you're all sure, then I'd be happy to join you. I'm sure Scorpius will be too, especially with Teddy being there." He said, turning a smile towards Hermione.

"Yes I've heard they're quite the force to be reckoned with." She replied.

I laughed. "You can say that again."

"Well uhm. I just have to run a few tests, if they all come back perfect then you'll be free to go home tonight." He looked at Ron.

"That's great." Ron smiled. "Can I see Rose?"

"Of course. I'll go get her." I said and left the room.

In the waiting room, Teddy held Rose in her lap bouncing her as she giggled. Teddy and Scorpius seemed deep in conversation.

When they noticed me Teddy was the first to ask. "How is he?"

"He's awake and if everything goes well he'll be free to leave tonight." I told them. They both smiled happily. "Ron wants to see Rose." I held my arms out and scooped her up. "Will you two be alright out here alone for a bit longer?"

"Yes, we're not babies." Teddy huffed.

"Alright. I'll be back later." I turned and went back into Ron's room.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Rose screeched. I set her on the ground and she ran to them.

"Hi baby girl!" Hermione shouted grabbing her and twirling her around. "Momma missed you last night! Do you want to see your daddy?" She asked.

Rose nodded her head quick enough to give herself whiplash.

She handed Rose to Ron and he instantly cooed her.

I turned to Draco who was writing stuff down on the parchment in his hand. A smile grazed his lips.

"You made that happen." I told him. His gaze met mine.

"What?"

"If it wasn't for you, Rose probably wouldn't have a father anymore. You created that smile on all of their faces."

"I was doing my job." He said.

"I know, but still. Thank you." He smiled up at me.

"You don't need to thank me. I'm just glad I could help." I pulled him into another hug. He stiffened slightly before relaxing and hugging me back.

"Ahem." We pulled apart and saw the little family looking at us.

Hermione was smirking. Ron looked close to fainting and Rose giggled.

"Oh. Nothing was going on. Get your mind out of the gutter 'Mione." I told her.

Draco flushed as the realization of what Hermione was thinking dawned on him. "I uh, better go. I'll be back with the test results later." He rushed out of the room.

Their gaze fell to mine. "You're right. He is an entirely different person and I've never-" I stopped listening when my body grew stiff.

"Hermione!" I shouted.

"What? I'm just-" I leaned over and gripped the chair in front of me. "Oh no."

"Bathroom. I can go in the bathroom." I told her.

She nodded her head at me and helped me get to the private bathroom in Ron's room. I collapsed to the floor.

Hermione knelt down. "No! Please! You know how much-" I gasped as a stinging pain hit my stomach. I groaned before continuing "I hate it when others watch. Please just leave and put the charms up."

She frowned. "Fine. I'll be back in an hour. Harry just undo the charms if you need me. Please?" I nodded my head and she left the room.
