First Day Of School
The bell rang for my first class and I made my way to my desk. 5 minutes later a kid walked in the classroom. He was small and cute and had on braces.
"Hello everyone! A new student will be joining our school today. His name is Yang Jeongin." The teacher announced.
"Hello! My name is Jeongin and it's nice to meet you!" The cute, new boy said.
Everyone liked him because of how cuet and cheerful he was. From the moment he walked in he didn't stop smiling. I watched him as he took his seat at an empty table a few rows in front of me. After the teacher left I watched how Jeongin talked to all the kids around him. He was so outgoing and he made friends fast.
He looks really nice I should go up to him. I thought to myself.
This was the perfect opportunity to make a new friend. He is new so he doesn't know my history of bullying and doesn't know me that well, so it may be easier to become friends with him.
After class officially ended I walked up to him when there was no one talking to him or standing near him.
"Hey.." I said softly while approaching him.
"Hi!" He said cheerfully while smiling.
"You're the new kid. Your name is Jeongin right?"
"Yes! Your name is?"
"Ohh I'm Hyunjin." I said shyly.
"Nice to meet you Hyunjin!" Jeongin said smiling.
He's so nice to me..
"Since you're new would you like me to show you around the school and help you find your classes?" I asked.
"Omg yes! Thank you so much. You are the only person who offered to help me. A lot of people came up to me and introduced themselves and we talked but they left immediately when the bell ring."
"Oh"
"You're the only one who offered to actually stay and help so thank you so much you are so sweet!"
"It's no problem."
"What class do you have next?" I asked him.
"Dance."
"Oh me too! Let's go together. I'll show you." I said as we slowly walked together.
This is the first time I've felt this happy on the first day of school, and it's only 2nd period.
