Before I Met you // Hyunin

Jeongin P.O.V

After school I went home to get ready, and then I headed to Hyunjin's house. Before school ended he gave me his address so I wouldn't get lost. As I approached his house I walked up the steps and rang the doorbell. Hyunjin opened the door and greeted me.

"Hey Jeongin." He said.

"Hey Hyunjin!" I said smiling. Then I walked in and greeted Changbin who was sitting on the couch.

"Hey Changbin." I said.

"Jeongin! You're here!" He said smiling.

I took of my shoes and jacket and walked towards where Changbin was sitting. Hyunjin closed the door behind me and followed me to the living room. We all sat on the floor in a circle.

"So to do this talent show we have to come up with a song to use and then divide the parts." Changbin said, laying down the basic rules.

"Right." Hyunjun said.

"But.. I have an idea first." I told the group.

"What is it?" Changbin asked as both their faces turned towards me.

"How about we each put on a performance for each other to show off our talents first! Like Changbin you can show us a rap, Hyunjin a dance, and I'll sing." I suggested.

"Okay! That's great!" Changbin said.

"Yea I agree. That's good." Hyunjin added.

"Plus it will help get rid of any stress or nervousness we are feeling before the actual day." Changbin mentioned.

"Correct!" I said.

Hyunjin P.O.V

"Who wants to go first then?" Jeongin asked.

"You should go first since you suggested the idea." Changbin said to Jeongin.

"Okay. Then I'll go first." Jeongin said as he grabbed his phone and scrolled through it looking for a song.

"Found one!"

Jeongin sprang up from the floor and stood in front of us as we watched from the couch. He pressed play on his phone and the music started playing. It was You Were Beautiful by Day6.

I love this song. I thought to myself

"What a nice song choice!" I said happily, earning a smile in return from Jeongin.

"What a sad song." Changbin said sarcastically laughing. I hit him and turned back around to focus my attention on Jeongin as he sang the first note.

As the song went on and Jeongin sang each note perfectly I felt at ease.

His voice is so beautiful and soothing.
I thought to myself.

As the sing concluded both Changbin and I stood up clapping.

"Amazing." Changbin said.

"You're such a great singer!" I said smiling.

Jeongin smiled back. "Oh thank you guys!" He said. Then he ran to the both of us and gave us a group hug.
"You guys are so nice."

"Who's next?" Jeongin asked as he sar on the couch.

I looked to Changbin with a look that said 'Don't look at me, I'm not going.'

"I'll go." He said proudly with a bright smile.

"Be prepared to get LIT."

"Can you stop using that word I can't." I said sarcastically rolling my eyes. Jeongin laughed next to me.

Did my heart just skip a beat?

Changbin went to the floor and pressed play as the song started playing. He chose Okey Dokey by Zico and Mino.

"If I have to hear this song from you oen more time!" I said rolling my eyes

"I love this song!" Jeongin said as he proceeded to sing Okey Dokey using aegyo.

"Okey Dokey yo!" Jeongin said in the cutest, babiest voice.

That was so cute I think my heart fluttered.

Then Changbin started rapping. When he rapped the verses his flow blew me away. He is an amazing rapper, I could never be as good as him, that's why I stick to dancing. When the chorus came on me and Jeongin stood up and started jumping while screaming,
"Is that true? YES! Okey Dokey Yo!" On the top of our lungs.

When Changbin's performance ended we fell back on the couch in exhaustion. We had such a great time with that song. Changbin's performance was so fun!

"That was great!" Jeongin said excitedly.

"Yea I enjoyed it Changbin. I love your rapping!" I said trying to catch my breath from jumping around too much. As we calmed down and settled down I got up to prepare for my performance.

"Now it's finally your turn!" Changbin said to me.

"We saved the best performance for last!" Jeongin said smiling.

"No. You mean the worst actually." I said looking at Jeongin.

"Don't say that! Yours is going to be the best performance I bet."

I slightly smiled. As I was preparing I scrolled through my phone to look for a song to dance to.  I was looking for a good edm song that I can fereestyle to. Then I found the perfect song. O chose Seventeen's highlight, I thought this song was perfect because it matched my dance style and I could shiwcase my skills.

Before I started to dance I was a little nervous and shaky but I looked up at Changbin and Jeongin's face. They were both smiling at me. Jeongin's smile got wider the more I looked, for some reason I couldn't look away.

His smile makes me feel at ease.

I calmed down and as soon as I started dancing I was in another world. I blocked out all distractions and gave my all into the dance. Hen I was done Changbin and Jeongin immediately stood up and started clapping.

"That was GREAT!" Jeongin screamed.

"Hyunjin you're truly so talented." Changbin said.

"You're the best dancer I've ever seen. You are amazing and flawless." Jeongin added. His words made me happy inside.

"Thank you guys." I said as they ran to me to give me a big hug.

"This was definitely the best performance out of all of us." Changbin said to me while rubbing my hair.

"Thanks." I said smiling slightly.
