Before I Met you // Hyunin

Jeongin P.O.V

At lunch Hyunjin and I discussed the important project we had for class.

"Do you want to visit an animal shelter today?" I asked him.

"Sure! We can get a lot of info from there."

"Okay let's meet there after school."

"Okay." Hyunjin agreed.

Later that Day

After school I met Hyunjin at the dog shelter. I arrived there before him and when he arrived I waved to him.

"Hi Hyunjin! Ready?"

"Yea let's go inside."

We walked in and looked at all the dogs and cats inside the shelter.

"They're all so cute." I said.

"I know!" Hyunjin replied.

We walked past them, petting each one. I could tell Hyunjin was really happy just from being able to see all the animals and getting to pet them. It was interesting how little things like that made him all happy and excited. I liked that about him.

"I love this project! I get to see all these cute doggies!" Hyunjin enthusiastically said.

Hyunjin's happiness made me smile. He's so nice and humble.

Hyunjin P.O.V

We spent a while at the shelter, just having such a great time. I have never spent a day with a friend like this before, besides Changbin. But even with Changbin we usually did things that either just he or I liked. I never experienced something as fun as this where we both enjoyed it.

I never experienced this kind of feeling before and I didn't want it to end so I asked Hyunjin if we could go somewhere else together and hang out.

"Hey Jeongin if you're not busy would you like to go to the park or soemthing? I mean it's fine if you don't want to." I said half expecting him to reject.

"Of course I would! That sounds great." Jeongin said proudly.

"Okay cool! Thanks."

We made our way to the playground. When we got there we had so much fun playing games and running around. After we were done being hyper and running around we sat down on a bench and cooled down.

"Jeongin I had such a great time with you today thank you so much." I said sincerely.

"You made this day amazing! Your personality is great and I love hanging out with you. I would love to do it again."

"I have to go now though. I'll see you tomorrow at school!" Jeongin said as he ran off.

"Bye Jeongin!" I said. Then I turned around and made my way back home.

This was the first time I hung out with someone other than Changbin for the whole day and enjoyed every moment of it. Hanging out with Jeongin was easygoing and felt free and not forced or awkward. I really enjoyed his company today.
