Before I Met you // Hyunin

Hyunjin P.O.V

When I arrived in my first period class I smiled and waved to Jeongin as I passed him to go to my seat in the back. Changbin sat in the seat next to me.

"Sorry I couldn't come to your house last night." Changbin said to me.

"It's okay."

"How was it? What did you guys do?"

"It was really fun. We played video games and watched a scary movie."

"A scary movie? You hate scary movies."

"I know. But Jeongin really wanted to see it so I gave in."

"Ohh okay." Is all Changbin said turning around to face up front at the teacher.

But for me, instead of paying attention to the teacher my mind was focused elsewhere. I had my eyes on the back of Jeongin. I was watching him while thinking to myself.

How can someone be so nice and such an sweetheart?
How am I so lucky to me such a nice friend like Jeongin?

I was hoping Changbin didn't see me and get the wrong idea.

"What are you staring at?" Changbin asked looking from my eyes to watch I was staring at in front of me.

"Jeongin?"

"W-what." I suddenly said turning to him. "I just zoned out. I was thinking about all my homeowork. Ugh." I said lying.

When the class ended Changbin quickly grabbed his bag and left.
"I have to go now! See ya later Hyunjin!" I smiled and said bye to him.

I took a while to pack my books and belongings into my bag so I was the last one in the class.
Jeongin must have left cause I was tking to long. I thought to myself.
I'll just walk to class by myself.

As I left the classroom my head was down and my eyes were staring at the ground. I saw a shadow and felt a prescence in front of me. I looked up and saw Jeongin. I immediately smiled and my face lit up.

"Hey Jeongin!" I said, smiling widely.

"Hey Hyunjin I was waiting for you. I didn't want the tecaher to get mad at me dor just standing there so I waited out here." He said smiling brightly.

"You waited for me?" I asked with wide eyes, looking surprised.

"Yea of course. I wouldn't leave you. Let's go to class."

My heart raced
His words made me light up inside

"Thanks, Jeongin." I said following him to class.

In dance class I performed a solo in front of everyone. I was nervouse of course at first, but Jeongin cheered me on.

"Fighting!" He said as I got up to show my solo to the entire class. I smiled and nodded back at him. When I finished my solo people actually clapped for me this time around.

"Great job!"

"That was amazing!"

"You're good Hyunjin!"

There were many compliments from the students that were being yelled at me. All the comments made me happy, a feeling I wasn't used to, especially at school.

When Jeongin got up to show off his solo I thought to myself. Every since the night of the talent show people have started to become nicer and more accepting of me. People actually recognize me and don't tease or bully me anymore like they used to. Maybe it is because I've become more confident and shown then a cooler side of me. But whatever the reason, it was all thanks to Jeongin. Ever since Jeongin became my friend I am no longer lonely and I am finally confident in myself again.

Jeongin is a special person
