Hyunjin P.O.V

After Jeongin left I felt more at calm and at ease than I did earlier. I checked my phone another time. I recieved a text from Changbin.

Changbin
Are you better now? Did you figure it out yet?

Hyunjin
I am better now. But I still don't know what you're talking about. Figure what out?

Changbin
You seem really genuinely confused so I'll give you a hint.
When you think of Jeongin what do you see? Describe him in as many ways as you can. Just say the first thing that comes to your mind

Hyunjin
Jeongin? Well he is adorable, cute, super nice, his smile is really cute and his laughs make me happy inside. He is also extremely nice and kind to me and makes me smile more than anyone else.

Changbin
Okay. So now answer this. What is Jeongin to you?

Hyunjin
My friend

Changbin
Are you sure Hyunjin?

I just sat in my bed scanning my eyes over Changbin's words repeatedly. What else could Jeongin be other than my friend?

Changbin
Because I think you like him

Hyunjin
Of course I do

Changbin
No, I think you're in love..

I froze at the words Changbin sent to me.
Love?
What is love?

How could I be in love with Jeongin? He is my new friend that is always there by my side. I closed my phone and sat in my bed, confused and puzzled. I closed my eyes trying to dostract myseld from the confusing thoughts entering my head. But as I closed my eyes all I could vision and think about was Jeongin. My heart felt heavy as I pictured his adorable smile and shiny eyes whenever we hung out together.

Then I tried to analyze Changbin's words and thought about earlier that day. I thought about how I only started feeling upset and down after Changbin asked me if I liked Jeongin. I also thought about how I felt down throughout the whole day and my mood only changed whenever I was with Jeongin. When I saw him at the library I suddenly felt happy and my worries were lifted away, and when he came over just a while ago I felt peaceful and at ease. Jeongin seemed to lift my mood and make me feel happy everytime I saw him.

Do I really like him? I thought to myself.
How can I know for sure?

All these thoughts raced through my head, but they were enough for today. I decided to finally get some sleep and deal with this in the morning.

The next was going perfectly fine, I hadn't even thought about the night before or my feelings for Jeongin. That is until Jeongin offered to walk me home.

"I'm bored and I have nowhere to be right now so why don't I walk you home?" Jeongin asked with pleading eyes.

"Okay sure." I said, enjoying the comfort of being with another person.

When we got to the stairs I opened the door and Kkami came running to me. I smiled brightly and my eyes lit up.

"Kkami!!" I said picking her up into my arms. I turned around to show her to Jeongin.

"Look it's Kkami! Want to see her?" I asked happily.

"Sure!" Jeongin said coming foward to me. He smiled as he came closer and started petting her.

His smile is so cute

His smile made me smile even brighter. I was so happy and beyond estatic that I couldn't stop smiling.

"She's so cute.. Just like you." Jeongin said as he poked my cheek.

After all Changbin's words and hints and all the thoughts that I had thought but brushed aside, I didn't realize how I truly felt until that moment.

When Jeongin called me cute a blush immediately creeped up my face. I felt my face getting hot and my heart wad beating faster. I realized I was blushing so I tried to hide it by looking away.

Finally Jeongin spoke up.

"I have to go now. I'll see you later Hyunjin!" He said waving as he walked in the other direction. I put Kkami down and watched as he walked away. My eyes were on him as he became smaller and smaller and eventually dissapeared. While watching him, unknowingly, I was smiling the whole time. I went inside and jumped on my bed letting out a big sigh.
