Before I Met you // Hyunin

Hyunjin P.O.V

"Do you like video games?" I asked.

"...OF COURSE!" Jeongin screamed.

"Okay let's play some video games then." I said running to the couch. Jeongin chased after me.

We played different video games mainly racing games but some shooting games as well. We got exhausted after a while from all the screaming and moving around so we decided to do something less active next.

"Would you like the watch a movie?" I asked, not wanting Jeongin to leave yet.

"Yea of course!" Jeongin said happily.

My heart lit up inside. I got up to grab a blanket and some snacks for us. Then I grabbed the remote.

"What kind of movie do you want to watch? Comedy, Roma...?"

"Horror!" Jeongin cut me off, saying loudly.

I groaned inside. I hate horror movies. I'm a scaredy cat and they scare me so much. I didn't want to show Jeongin that side of me. But I gave in anyways.

"Okay, fine." I said quietly, mentally hitting myself.

The first part of the movie wasn't bad, it didn't scare me. I tried to control my emotions and expressions as the movie went on. However one part made me scream and jump in the air. After that the movie got scarier and I was shaking in my spot. I pulled the blanket over my eyes to cover the screen.

"I can't watch this." I said quietly whining.

Jeongin turned to me and pulled the covers from my eyes.

"Are you scared of horror movies?" He asked.

"Mmm y-yea a little." I said quietly while whimpering.

"Aww."

"How is that cute? That's embarrassing."

"No I find it cute." He said.

"Here don't worry. Don't be scared." Jeongin said as he reached under the covers and grabbed my hand.

"You can hold my hand and if you get scared just squeeze it."

"O-Okay." I said still scared.

Another jump scared happened and I jumped up letting out a loud scream. I jumped closer to Jeongin and put my arms around him, hugging and squeezing him tight.

When I came to my senses and I saw what I was doing, I jumped back quickly.

"Sorry Jeongin." I said.

"No it's okay. If you are scared come close to me." He said as he pulled me closer to him.

"You can lay your head in my shoulder and turn your face behind me when you get scared."

"Thank you." I said resting my head in Jeongin's neck. His body was warm and comforting. My heart melted inside from his kindness to me. Usually Changbin and my parents would laugh at me for getting scared and not help at all, but Jeongin actually comforted me.

I must have fell asleep because I woke up to Jeongin tapping me and as I opened my eyes I saw the credits on the screen.

"Wake up sleepy."

"The movie ended already?" I asked confused and half sleepy.

"You fell asleep and missed the ending. The best part! But it's okay you looked more peaceful sleeping than jumping and screaming."

"I must've felt so comfortable in your embrace that I fell asleep. Seriously you are so warm and cozy!" I said laughing.

"I hope falling asleep on you didnt bother you though." I said after realizing how Jeongin must've felt.

"No it didn't at all. I actually liked it because you looked so peaceful and calm." Jeongin said. I smiled and scratched my neck.

"I guess I'll go now. Today was fun Hyunjin!" Jeongin said as he got on his shoes and opened the door.

"I had a great time with you Jeongin! Thank you so much. I'll see you in school." I said as I waved goodbye.
