Hyunjin P.O.V

Right as we stepped out the bathroom Changbin came running to us.

"There you guys were! I just finished cleaning up the mess. Are you alright Hyunjin?" He asked.

"Yea I'm fine now. Jeongin helped me out."

After lunch ended Changbin went to his class. Jeongin and I both had a break in our schedule so I offered him to something.

"As I way of saying thank you I would like to buy you something to eat, since we didn't get to enjoy sone nice food for lunch."

"Wow thank you Hyunjin. You're so sweet!"

"Let's go. We can go to the school café and I'll buy you hot chocolate and cookies."

"How did you know hot chocolate was my favorite?" Jeongin asked surprised.

"Lucky guess." I said smiling.

"Wow you're brilliant." Jeongin said complimenting me.

After we got to the café I ordered two hot chocolate and 2 giant choclate chip cookies for us to share.

"For you." I said handing Jeongin the hot chocolate.

"Wow this is so nice. You are seriously the best! Thank you." He said as he took a sip of his hot chocolate and smiled.

The song playing in the café was You Are by Got7.

"Wow this song is my favorite!" I said smiling as I enjoyed my drink.

"Hyunjin You like Got7 too? No way!" Jeongin said excited.

"Yes I love Got7 so much!" I said happily.

"Wow you have good taste in drinks and good taste in music as well!"

I smiled and looked down at my drink.

"You are amazing!" Jeongin said giggling.

I've never seen someone this happy and positive to be around me.

"Jeongin I'm interested in hearing about your life and yourself. Would you mind telling me a little backstory?"

"Sure! I would love to."

"Before I came to this school I lived in Busan. I loved it there and I made a lot of nice friends but I had to move to Seoul because my parents had a job offer here. I live with my 2 younger siblings. Also, one of my passions is singing!"

"Wow that's interesting!" I said smiling.

"Could you sing me something?" I asked eager to hear his voice.

"Um sure! What should I sing?"

"A Got7 song!!" I suggested enthusiastically.

"Good Idea." Jeongin said smiling.

Then he started to sing. His voice was so unique and angelic. He sang Got7's Lullaby. His voice matched perfectly with the song. When he was done I smiled and clapped for him.

"That was great!! You have such a great voice Jeongin. I am so impressed" I said.

He smiled and nodded back. "Thank you." Actually I am a little insecure about my vocal skills so thank you for that."

"Of course." I said.

After we finished our drinks and cookies it was almost time for our next class. We both stood up exiting the café. Then the bell rang.

"Okay it's time for the next period." I said to Jeongin.

"You have singing class now right?"
I said.

"Yea." Jeongin said laughing softly.

"Okay, I have rap class. I guess I'll see you later."

"Okay. Talk to you later Hyunjin!"

"You better sing that song for your class. It sounds amazing!" I said to Jeongin as I walked away.

"Okay!" Jeongin said smiling.

Then I turned around and walked to my class. Changbin was in the same class as me as well so I greeted him when I walked through the door.

"Hey Changbin! What's up?" I said as we shook hands.

Changbin is one of the best rappers in the school. And I'm not saying this just because we are friends. He seriously can rap crazily, his rapping is insane.

For our class today we got to pick partners and do a rap duo performance. At the end the students would anonymously vote on who they thought was the best. Today I decided to do one with Changbin. At the end of the performance Changbin got a total of 19 votes and I only got 1 vote.
Figures. I know Changbin is the best rapper in the class but even if I didn't duet with him I would still get hardly any votes. Every time I perform I only get 2 or less votes. No one ever votes for me.

"Sorry I should have went easier on you." Changbin said to me as we sat down after our performance.

"It's not you. You know I don't get any votes anyways."

"It's not that they don't like you maybe it's that you just don't fit the song when you perform. You should try putting more emotion and personality into it."

I just lowered my head and stared at the floor in silence. Even though he tried to comfort me and make me feel better I still felt upset. He should have told me I did great or amazing instead of just lying and trying to justify everyone else's behavior. But I'm not going to blame or hate Changbin for that, I am a hard person to understand and he has been the only person by my side so I will let it go.
