Next Week.

I wake up, and look at the clock. It's the day of the Choosing Ceremony. And I only have one hour to get ready.

I take a shower, then pick out my outfit, while eating a bowl of Cocoa Puffs, Dauntless's favorite cereal. I wear a black tank top, and black leggings, with my combat boots.

I run to Tobias's closet, and get him a pair of black jeans, and a black t-shirt.

I grab his combat boots and jacket, also. I have a black, furry NorthFace jacket that I'm wearing.

I walk, slowly and quietly, to Tobias's side of the bed. I slowly kiss him on the lips, and he wakes up.

"Come On Tobias. We only have about a half an hour before we have to get to the net." I say sweetly.

"Okay. Let me go take a shower." He says. Then jumps out of bed for the shower.

Once he finishes eating, he goes and dresses Hunter. I dress Maddie and Olivia in black leggings, a black tank top, and baby black combat boots. I also grab their baby black jackets.

Hunter is wearing the same thing as Tobias, Olivia, and Maddie are wearing the same thing as me. Coincidence?

We take the kids to Christina's, and go to the net. Everyone is already there, and as soon as we get ready to get the initiates out of the net, a flash of White comes flying down the net.

I pull her out. "What's your name?" I ask, emotionlessly. "Libby." She says. "First Jumper, Libby!" Four Yells. "Welcome to Dauntless." I say.

Once all of the initiates have jumped, here's what we have.

Candor:

Libby

Don

Erudite:

Francesca

Connor

Amity:

Blake

Blaze

Abnegation:

Gretchen

Tony

Only 8 transfers, that's not that many, compared to our group last year. Tobias gives his yearly speech, and then for fun, we add:

"Just so you know, we're married. So go f**k yourselves!" I yell. They all shrink back as if I were some kind of mass murderer.

We show them the compound, and show them the dorms. Then we go to eat at the dining hall.

While we're there, something unexpected happens. "Libby?" Peter calls, running towards Libby, sweeping her in his arms.

"Peter, Brother, I've missed you so much!" She says. "I've missed you too, sister!" He says, then they walk away, to catch up.

"Wow. I never knew Peter had a heart!" I say, and everyone at our table laughs.
