Lalisa Manoban

We just stood there while he hugged me so tight. I didn't know if I should've return his warm embrace but I'm more wary about my heart that keeps on beating fast.

I was so afraid he'd feel it. I was so freakin' afraid... so, so afraid that I kept asking to myself, what's all this for?

Does this mean something?

Does this hug mean anything to him?

Because for me, this means one thing.

But I'm scared to think I'm just the only one.

"Lisa..." He muttered my name over my shoulders.

I hummed as a response.

"Did you missed me?"

And there goes my heart again.

I nervously chuckled, "No... Why would... I missed... you?"

Oh goodness, this is so embarrassing.

The last time I felt this embarrassed is when I choked on my own words during my speech class way back in middle school.

Though this situation is quite different from that, but this intense feeling of embarrasment is similar.

"Really? You didn't missed me?"

I slowly nodded my head.

"Then, why is your heart beating so fast?"

My eyes widened and I immediately pushed him away.

"Y...yah!" I exclaimed at him.

He looked at me, amusement dancing in his eyes.

"Don't look at me like that!" I said, looking away from him.

I heard him chuckled, "Like what?"

I turned back to him, "Like that... like your... oh goodness, just stop."

He laughed, "Alright, alright. I'm sorry. But you really didn't missed me? Because I did missed you for the past week. It was even difficult for me to control myself not to see you. Like..."

He chuckles before continuing, "...what's wrong with me?"

All the time he was speaking, I was just looking at him, listening... trying to sink to myself that his words might give me false hopes.

Then, he looked me really straight in the eyes.

"You knew about what happened to Mina, Eunwoo and I, right?"

The sudden change of topic made me want to focus and listen to him more.

I slowly nodded my head.

He released a sigh and bit his lip like he was contemplating.

"Did you... like..."

He was having a hard time trying to ask, so I raised my eyebrows.

"Did it changed something, you mean?" I tried to help him.

He anxiously nodded his head.

I crossed my arms and acted like I was in deep thought.

I leaned my back on the door and looked at him.

"Hmm, you want an honest answer? "

He nodded his head like a child.

"Well, when I first heard it, yes. It did changed my opinion of you."

"Really?" He sounded disappointed.
