LALISA MANOBAN
I thought Jungkook was just being playful when he told me that he would like to come with me to Thailand.
But oh boy, the look on my face must be priceless when he sent me his photos of luggage he already packed.
I can't believe he was really coming with me! And the fact that he feels excited more than me made me nervous as a potato being turned into snacks.
"Bro, you're always one step ahead. I can't believe you have the courage to meet Lisa's parents when you're just dating her for two weeks!" Mingyu told Jungkook when they sent us to the airport on a Friday morning.
Jungkook chuckled and I rolled my eyes.
He was enjoying it while there was me thinking about a good explanation about how I got into a relationship with Jungkook to my parents.
My Mom might show support about this, but my Dad was the problem.
He's quite protective of me since I'm an only child and a woman at some points.
I already told Jungkook about what he should expect to my parents, especially my Dad but it seemed like he wasn't bothered by it.
When our flight's called, we waved goodbye to Jimin and Mingyu.
When we were in line to board the plane, Jungkook told me, "I can't wait to meet your parents, babe."Though he was wearing a mask, I still can understand him.
I ignored the fact that he called me babe since I was getting used to it for everytime he calls me that, and just asked him, "Aren't you nervous about what they might say or do about our relationship? Especially my Dad?"
"I'm quite confident that they would like me."
I laughed, "Don't be too confident, Mister."
He chuckled and then playfully raised his eye brows, "Watch and learn how I would sway Mr. & Mrs. Manoban. They might like me more than you expect and they would just wish I'm the one you'd marry in the future."
I cackled, shaking my head as I told him, "You're hopeless." Even though the word marry in the future sounded promising.
During our five-hour flight, Jungkook and I only talked when we ate, since we have spent our time sleeping the whole time.
We touched-down to Thailand international airport when it was almost lunch.
Luckily, my mom sent us someone to pick us up since she told me she'll be busy cooking for us when we get to our home.
When we saw a cardboard with my name on it, I instantly knew it was our driver to home.
Jungkook still looked sleepy when we loaded the van with our things and myself so I told him he should sleep for the whole one-hour ride, but he refused.
