Chapter 28: Leo

Eunwoo and I worked for an hour with our project. We checked and fixed each other's work, the main reason why we managed to finished it quick.

By the time we are done, the food we ordered through delivery came.

Just in time.

We got two bowls of black bean noodles and sweet and sour pork. Then I prepared us pineapple juice for our drinks.

As we were eating we're talking about the research we're going to do for the other subjects we have.

We were seriously talking when my doorbell rang making us stop for a moment.

"I'm going to check it." I said to Eunwoo and he nodded.

I walked out of the dining room and proceeded to the door.

I looked at the small monitor and confusion enveloped me when I saw no one, but instead found something on the ground.

With hesitation, I slowly opened the door and I peek to see a pet carrier.

Huh?

I widened the door and decided to step outside only to be surprised by a voice.

"Hi."

"Oh my!" I exclaimed.

Jungkook was there, standing at the side, completely hidden from my intercom monitor inside.

"You freaked me out!" I told him.

He laughed, "I'm so sorry."

He looked tired with his damp messy hair but I admit he still looks good.

"What are you doing here? You have your practice, right?" I asked him while I watched as he bend down and picked up the pet carrier.

But instead of answering my question, he asked me, "Is Eunwoo still there?"

I was taken aback because of that but managed to regain myself when he faced me.

"Oh... Eunwoo's still here. We just finished our projects and we are currently eating... Uhm, would you like eat with us inside?"

He shook his head while chuckling, "You confessed to me yet you have another man in your apartment."

My eyes widened in shocked and I felt myself blushing, "W-what?"

"I'm just kidding." He told me but he didn't sound like he was joking, so I feel obliged to explain something to him.

I don't know why but I think I have to.

I bit my lip, "We just worked on our project, Jungkook. We find difficulties on some parts so we decided to help each other."

He smiled, "I know and I understand."
