Lalisa Manoban
I did just dream.
I was dreaming.
I told myself these words a lot of times in the middle of the night. For two straight hours, I was convincing myself that what I heard was all just part of my hallucinations.
But no matter what I tell myself, I always end up feeling like I'm trying so hard to escape the reality.
It wasn't a dream. No.
Rather, it was an unpleasant and cold reality that slapped against me.
"Lisa? Are you awake?" Two knocks and a familiar voice are heard against the door of the room where I stay in.
I wanted to answer but my voice didn't want to cooperate with me. Likewise, my whole body.
Maybe because an hour ago, I just fell asleep and I need more.
I'm too tired and I didn't like the way I am right now.
"Lisa? Are you awake? Breakfast's ready." I heard the voice again, but it wasn't clear. It was like muffled until I heard nothing but silence it my head.
And that's the way I liked it.
Pretty sure, the next time when I woke up, it was before lunch. Probably at 11 a.m.
With enough sleep, I finally stood up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom to shower and got a change of clothes.
Once I was done, I got out of the room and the first thing I noticed was the silence.
No one was around.
I walked to the living room, there was no one.
Outside, no one.
When I went back inside, I saw Jungkook descending from the stairs. He was still in his pajamas.
"You're finally awake." He said and smiled at me as he approached where I stood.I found it hard to smile back but I still tried.
