Chapter 30: In front of many people

LALISA MANOBAN

After performances ended, we decided to go to backstage to congratulate them because as predicted, they got the highest score.

Of course, they would get it.

I mean, they performed really, really well.

The power and the elegance they brought together on stage was something remarkable. It would really make you feel impressed.

The backstage is crowded but we managed to get in their dressing room.

The guys went in while Jimin and I waited outside because no girls allowed.

While waiting for them, I told Jimin that I would like to visit Mina in their room so that I can congratulate her. It's been awhile since I last saw her and even until now, we didn't get to talk.

Sometimes, I've wondered what we're going to talk about.

"Even if I want to say "no" to you, I couldn't." Jimin told me when I asked her if I could see Mina.

I sadly smile, "Would you like to accompany me then?"

I got a glare from her so I just awkwardly laugh.

"Nice try, Lisa." I whispered to myself.

"Go, Lisa. Before I changed my mind. I'll wait for you here."

I nodded at Jimin and went to the room where Mina and her co-ballet dancers were, which is next to the room where Jungkook and Yugyeom and their other groupmates were staying.

For some reasons, I was anxious when I knocked at the door.

What would I even tell her? Congratulations? And then what?

After some seconds, the door opened and it revealed a face that's very familiar.

"Oh? The Barbie Unnie...?" She called me.

Barbie unnie? Huh? I'm Lalisa Manoban for all I know.

I shrugged the though and awkwardly smiled and greeted her, "H-hello."

"You're here for Mina unnie?" She asked again, all smiles.

I nodded my head.

"I'll call her for you Barbie unnie." Then she went to call for Mina.

I would like to say to her that my name is Lisa and not Barbie.

Within a moment, Mina appeared in front of me with the girl who called me Barbie unnie.

"Oh, Lisa?" Mina called out my name.

I smiled at her and shyly waved my hand , "Hi, Mina."

"What are you doing here?" She asked with a smile on her face.

She really looks pure and innocent in an elegant way.

"Uhm, I just want to congratulate you. You look really elegant awhile ago. Your performance is so epic!" I said.

She laughed. Those laugh that sounded music to the ears.

"You're flattering me, but thank you. I didn't know you came to watch." She said and then looked behind me.

I also looked back to see Jimin looking at our way, I smiled at her when she noticed me looking at her.

Then, I turned back to Mina.

"Actually I wasn't aware of this... performance. We just happened to see students running towards the theatre. Mingyu asked what's happening to some girls, then they told us. That's when Jimin and the others remembered they were informed by Yugyeom but they've forgot."
