LALISA MANOBAN
The next day, while we were having breakfast with my Mom, I told her about meeting Sorn and Ten and inviting them over for dinner when Dad comes.
She told me that was a good idea since she haven't seen them in a while. Particularly after Sorn left for Paris and I left for Korea. Ten staying here for his busy schedules attending college and managing his studio.
After that, Mom left because of another business meeting.
I was quite thankful my parents have something they could be busy about because that makes me worry less about them missing me too much.
Jungkook and I decided to not roam around in the city since we were expecting my Dad to come that night. And so we planned to just chill and watch movies at our house's small fun room.
Since Thailand is known for scary movies, we watched one.
In the middle of the movie, we were just quiet and focused.
Scary movies doesn't affect us that much since I'm used to it and Jungkook... he likes scary stuff.
Since we have concluded how the movie will end, Jungkook started to talk about me inviting Sorn and Ten for dinner.
"Eh? I've told you about that, right?" I told him, turning to see him in dimmed light.
"I would remember if you told me." He replied.
I shook my head, "No, I remember I told you. When I was asking you to just leave and not meet them because I would just like to invite them over the house."
"Alright, I remember that. But you didn't mention it would be tonight. I thought I could meet your Dad with just us around." He pouted.
I chuckled, "Are you nervous about what Ten said?"
"What Ten said? Ah! That your Dad likes him as his son? Why would I nervous about that? He can be your Dad's son, as long as I'm his daughter's husband."
My mouth fell in shocked, "Ya.. what... are you... even talking about!"
He laughed out loud.
I was thankful we were in the dark and he couldn't see how my face was turning red.
Lunch came after finishing two movies.
Jungkook wanted to eat food outside the city so we asked our house helpers not cook food for us and asked someone to drive for us since I was too lazy to drive in a busy street.
Upon reaching a restaurant, we ordered authentic Thai food and Jungkook wanted me to explain to him every dishes served.
I asked what it was for, he answered, "Maybe someday when I plan to open up another restaurant, it would be a Thai one. So that whenever you crave food from your hometown, we could just visit my restaurant."
I can tell he was indirectly telling me that he was going to put up a Thai restaurant just for me.
I was happy for some reason.
While waiting for our order, he was busy taking pictures of the scenery outside and then most of the times, he would direct his camera to me.
I pouted, smiled, frowned, and made faces that made him laughed.
Then I realized, we haven't took a single photo together!
"We should get one later." He said when I told him about my concern.
I felt giddy and nodded like a child.
After eating our lunch, we walked around, took pictures, and tried to eat every street food we passed by. Until my phone buzzed and I received a message from the artist we asked to paint us.
