"Yes." He said to me, in a serious tone.
Damn!
I'm regretting that question I let go to him.
"Then don't," I said plainly.
"Why not? Is there someone else already?" He forced out a smile. It looked terrible on him. I knew I hurt him, and... was I getting out of hand?
"Ah."
"Is there someone else already?" He repeated his statement, a bit slower. "It's alright, Jade. I won't go to him and strangle him," he chuckled, forcing out a smile again.
Oh, I wish there was someone else. Someone who wouldn't let me fall—instead, it'll catch me.
"No." I squeaked.
"Then?" He looked hopeful to me.
"Just don't," I said again, squeaking it.
"Why not?" He asked in frustration, but smiling. "Mind explaining?" He leaned in.
God! Why am I in such state? What did I do wrong?
I couldn't help myself ... a tear fell from my eye. Why! Why do I have to undergo a situation where I have to spill my heart out? I couldn't think of another way. I hate confrontations. If I don't have any of my best friends behind me, I can't undergo confrontations. I don't expect him to comfort me. Nor want him to.
"I'm not going to say sorry," he said childishly—as if his mom wanted him to sorry to me.
"You damn asshole. Jerk. Heartless jerk. You're a blind, numb, bastard!" I banged his chest really hard. I don't care if we were inside the car. My cheeks were getting itchy. Hot tears were streaming out of mg eyes. "I thought you were some geek-guitarist. But you... fuck you!" I banged his chest so hard, but he just let me do it. My cheeks were getting darn itchy. Hot tears keeps faling down and my vision was very blurry. He was all I could see.
I want to punch him so hard until there's a blood visible, but I'm not bad. I went back to my seat and tried to calm. Finally the traffic loosen up, but the rain was still heavy.
"Jade," he said calmly as we parked on front of my house. I breathe in and faced him. It was unexpected, his face was so near. And our lips touched. It was unexpexted, but it was full of sweetness, love, hate, and hurt. He deepen his kiss, while I stayed still on my position. Oh Koby, if you only know how much I love you.
He hit on the breaks and it wasn't that obvious that we were already in our pavement.
"Tha-thanks.." I trailed as I got off his car, a pair of musculine arms suddenly wrapped itself around my waist and lifted me up. I let a scream. He laughed happily and loudly as I dropped the umbrella, making us wet to the bones.
"You can't hate me too long," he laughed out loud. Koby. "Sorry for being a jerk. I love you," he spun me again.
Wait!
Did he said he love me? Was I dreaming? Of course, I can!

"Jade! Jade!"
Someone slapped me. I can't open my eyes well, there were droplets falling directly to them. Finally, someone covered my eyes from getting wet.
"Thank God, you're awake!" He sighed and kissed my forehead. "Give the keys," I gave him the keys of the house and he carried me in a bridal style into the house.
