Song of the chapter: White Horse of Taylor Swift
My body was already warm when noon approached. Dad ordered some home made cookies while mom left for work.
"Sorry 'bout messing up our family, Jade," dad said through his chews. I love dad, and of course I couldn't stay mad at him for hours.
"I guess first love never dies," I quoted as tears streamed down my face. First Love. I want to rewind the time and take back I what said. Now I hurt myself with I said.
"Sure do," dad chuckled. He sat near my foot, luckily he didn't saw me cry.

"Mr. Montgomery? Someone is here for Ms. Jade. Should I let him in?" My governess peeked in.
"Nice to see you awake now, ms. Jade," she greeted. I gave her a smile and looked at dad, who was staring at me.
"What?"
"Should I-you know-let him in?" Dad asked doubtedly. He seemed worried for me, but I think I should talk to Koby.
"Okay," I gave dad a smile. He took it and signaled to let him in.
The door was opened wide and he entered with a simple smile on his face. My heart dropped, I wanted to jump out this bed and hug him. But I can't. I had to prevent myself from falling again.
"Hey Jade," he casually said. My heart was beating so fast, like it wanted to jump out my rib cage.
"Ha-hi," I stuttered. I looked at dad, who was looking at Koby like he was examining him. "Dad?" He startled.
"Yes?" He smiled.
"Can you-uh-leave me and Koby alone?" I smiled innocently.
"Okay," dad hesitated but left immediately.
"How are you, Cool Cat?" He playfully smiled as sat by my foot. I laid still, I don't want him to have the hint that I still do love him.
"Feeling better now. In fact I felt warmer," I proudly said to him with a smile.
"That's a good news! I mean," he scratched his head, as if he said something that made him embarrass himself. "What I meant was-it was really good. I can clearly remember that last night, you were cold as ice." He laughed, and so I joined his laughter.
Oh, Last night. (A/N play the song Last Night by the Vamps! Please. I love it XD) This kiss could be our last. Did he kissed me in my dream? I can't remember. Let's just start it all again.
And if tomorrow never comes, we had last night. Yup. But last night was a dream!
Wake up in the morning, with the sunlight in my eyes. No my head don't feel so bright, what the h*ll happened last night. I honestly felt like wh*t the h*ll when I woke up and found myself in the hospital bed.
"Thank you for saving me, anyway. I felt like-should I continue?" I laughed. It wasn't a joke. Come on! My evil side came out and wanted to continue...
He sighed before continuing. "Okay," he encouraged.
"Are you sure?" I teased. Gosh! This was what I hate of having two sides: me when mad and the good hearted one.
"Yeah."
"You said so," I whispered. "Like I was saying, I felt like there was a weight on my shoulders when I knew you were the one who saved me. So, I owe a gratitude in short, yeah?" I smiled innocently.
"Don't have to," he muttered to himself.
"Yeah I do!" I protested.
"No need. I can't just leave you there lifeless when you fainted. So, no need!" I was taken aback. Did he just? No. No. No.
"I was just kidding," he laughed, but I didn't bought his joke. It hurt me through bones! He said he couldn't just leave me there. So it was like... He was forced to do it! Damn it!
Tears reached my cheeks and it was flaming hot. He leaned in and wiped those tears away, and I let him. I stayed still in my same, old position. I still can't sync it in. Even though it was just a joke.
He played Beautiful Goodbye of Maroon V while he laid next to me, nearly cuddling me. And of course, me heart was beating wildly! I hope it didn't embarrassed me. I felt his heart beating the same rhythm because his chest was pressed against my right arm. Our hearts were beating the same rhythm. Deep inside, I was exploding confetties and blowing trumpets. I felt so happy.
"Jade," he shyly said.
"Hmm?" I mumbled as I shifted position, moving closer to him.
"I want to tell you, I'm really sorry," he talked slowly, making sure I'll understand every word he said.
"Sorry for?" I played dumb. I wanted him to tell me, personally, what.
"For not seeing the Jade who was there for me. I mean," he scratched the back of his neck, again, feeling embarrassed. "I mean, I only see you as friend, when I shouldn't. I never-"
"Jade!"
"Oh my glob!" Chloe suddenly covered Cameron and Tyler's eyes. Koby fell from the bed, and I laughed hysterically due to my surprised visit.
"Koby! Are you alright?" I asked, leaning to the end of the bed.
"Yep," he scratched his head.
"Aww. Come here," I opened my arms and he took it wholeheartedly. I hugged him while massaging the part where it hurts.
"Sweetness overload!" Chloe and Cameron whined as they placed something by the table.
"We should be used to it," Tyler bitterly said, we all laughed at him.
"What made you guys-oh," I just realized I shouldn't asked them what made them come here. I mean, come on! They were my friends! I mentally face-plamed myself.
"Chill, Jade," Tyler laughed out. "I brought some shawarma for you guys, together with drinks."
"Thanks," I said, still soothing Koby's head.
