"shouldn't you answer his phone? it's been ringing for the past ten minutes." chan complained. hyunjin and his brother had been sitting on the living room couch watching netflix for half an hour already.
"of course not, it's seungmin's phone." hyunjin huffed before focusing back to the show.
"fine,"
chan tilted his head in confusion "but where is he anyway?"
that made hyunjin realize that the youngest indeed hadn't showed up for the past 30 minutes "he must be in the bathroom, i didn't see him leave the room." the taller mumbled but his thoughts were interrupted when he heard seungmin's phone go off for the nth time.
"fuck it." hyunjin hissed before grabbing the device and answering the call as he put it on speaker.
"seungmin, it's jeongin, finally you answered! do you take my affection for granted bitc-"
"it's hyunjin, and who are you calling a bitch, you dumba- ouch!" hyunjin yelped before rubbing the back of his head that chan just smacked.
chan glared at the younger "don't you speak to him like that!"
hyunjin just rolled his eyes "anyways, what's so urgent that i have to waste my precious time to your disrespectful ass?" he sassed.
"asshol-"
"language, innie!" the oldest yelled.
"sorry.. but it's about that felix's short boyfriend, changjin or something,"
"he is looking for a dorm but he needs to stay at our place after christmas until he finds one.. so could seungmin please stay there for another month or so,"
"felix and that shortie are most likely going to conquer seungmin's and felix's shared room.. could you please deliver this message to him?" jeongin pleaded, hyunjin faced chan to see if he approved.
"it's fine by me.. only if these two can keep it child-friendly." chan mumbled the last part but received a smack anyways.
"you filthy man! i could say the same to you two!" hyunjin snickered.
the oldest gasped in shock "h-hey, do you still want seungmin to stay here?" he threatened.
jeongin sighed "enough you two! i have to go now, just make sure to inform seungminnie."
"alright, bye. and it's seungmin to you, just saying.." hyunjin murmured before hanging up, missing the 'posessive' that chan whispered under his breath.
the taller then stood up and stretched his limbs "that show was boring anyways, i'll go check up on what seungmin is up to." he yawned before making his way upstairs. he opened the door quietly as he poked his head inside their bedroom.
"minnie.. are you here?" hyunjin called out after stepping into the room. he closed the door behind him.
he heard a noise from the bathroom to his left. he tilted his head.
"minnie~ seungminnie~ are you there?" he cooed with a smile as he gently knocked on the door.
he heard a few stumbles and some objects colliding which made him even more confused but soon he heard a very quiet 'yes..'
the taller frowned "are you okay? please tell me if there's something wrong." he pleaded.
"oh, and jeongin called. come out so we can talk. please."
seungmin didn't speak a word and nothing happened whatsoever so hyunjin sighed as he slid down to a sitting position with his back against the bathroom door. little did he know the younger did the exact same.
"minnie..." hyunjin whined but stopped after he heard some shifting around from the other side of the door.
there was a moment of silence before he heard the smaller clear his throat softly.
he took a deep breath.
"jinnie," he began with a gentle quiet voice.
"how about cats?"
hyunjin furrowed his brows "what?" he was utterly confused but listened closely as the red head continued,
"what do you think about cats?"

sorry for no chapter for a while, spring allergies have been kicking your girl's ass lately, on top of that i got otitis, like always during spring. so i'm stressed and in pain :) my nose is so stuck i can't breathe through it so i lack sleep as well.
