jeongin tugged onto his hair in frustration as he heaved a sigh "what am I going to do.." he groaned.
he had returned from his date with chan not more than half an hour ago and he was sitting on his bed at the dorm as he pulled on to his own hair. the boy didn't know how to process what he witnessed with chan at the mall. that's right, they saw seungmin's ex, they couldn't be mistaken.
he plopped onto his bed back first from his sitting position "I can't possibly tell seungmin, no way, I can't place such a burden on his shoulders.. they had rough enough past." jeongin sighed for the nth that evening "what is that guy's motive anyways.. he wouldn't be here to congratulate them on their engagement. if he's around, something bad is bound to happen.. that bastard." the dimpled boy hissed as he blindly threw the nearest pillow, fortunately it didn't do any damage.
in the middle of yawning, someone slammed the door open, causing jeongin to almost roll down the bed from shock as he gasped "jisung, how many times have I told you to knock!" the younger shouted as he composed himself, sitting up.
jisung at the doorway chuckled sheepishly "sorry.." he mumbled but proceeded to jump on top of his roommate from excitement.
the orange haired male squealed enthusiastically as he retracted from the tight hug "guess what!!"
jeongin rolled his eyes, clearly not interested "you and felix won a fortnite match, or something.." he shrugged, receiving a small slap on his shoulder from the older.
"no! w--well yeah but I did most of the work 'cause you know how changlix can be, but that's not the point!" the other whined, but brushed the younger's comment away.
he grinned brightly "my boyfriend is back in town! he arrived two weeks ago, he surprised me today!" he squealed once again, proceeding to squish jeongin in his arms.
the raven haired pushed him away as he tilted his head "who? the one you spent last summer with? I thought you broke up because you never introduced him to us."
"o--oh, he was out of town for a few months so I couldn't.." jisung mumbled nervously as he sat properly beside the slightly taller boy.
jeongin frowned "but he's here now. that means you can introduce us to him soon, right? we're your best friends." he said as he noticed the squirrel looking male next to him avoid eye contact.
oh fuck, jisung thought
"y--yeah, haha.. maybe someday." jisung laughed awkwardly as he scratched his nape before checking his wrist watch "oh! it's already six, i need to call mi-- I mean my boyfriend, bye!" he piped up, getting on his feet and rushing out of the room before jeongin could question him further.
the younger was about to yell after the other but the door slammed shut, causing him to groan in annoyance "that idiot, he's been together with that guy almost two years now, how come I don't even know his name?!" he hissed.
but what could he do now? he couldn't speak to jisung who was busy with his boyfriend and chan is with his studies, and jeongin doesn't want to disturb him even more. jeongin sighed. there was only one option. felix. who was most likely sucking faces with that changbin guy just in the room next to his. he really didn't want to go there but he had to speak to someone about this.
after a moment of considering, he came in to conclusion. jeongin decided to pick up his phone from his night stand before spamming the older with messages, asking for felix to come to his room because of an urgent matter, and to not bring changbin with him. when he saw the messages as 'seen' he sighed, satisfied, before placing the device into his pocket.
not more than two minutes after the door to his room opened, revealing a very annoyed and disheveled looking felix with messy hair and swollen lips. yup, they definitely were at it.
the said male stomped inside, closing the door behind him "make it fast. we kind of had a moment there. and just so you know, you ruined it." felix hissed, making the younger chuckle in amusement "I can see.."
but the smaller decided not to waste more of the freckled boy's time so he proceeded to explain what he witnessed with his boyfriend. felix squinted his eyes "are you sure it was him, I'm pretty sure he left for good back then. he wouldn't dare come back, would he?" he questioned doubtfully.
the dimpled nodded eagerly "I'm sure! how could I forget how that asshole looks like!" he retorted as the older was deep in thought.
"is there a possibility that maybe he isn't here for seungmin? I mean, we can't stop him from living his own life but near seungminnie he can't come."
jeongin was becoming furious as he raised his voice "are you siding with him now! you know that what he did to our precious minnie is unforgivable!" he was about to continue his ranting but was hushed by the felix as he wrapped his arms around the younger male "don't worry, jeongin. he wouldn't dare come close to him. and besides, seungmin has hyunjin now so he is taken care of well." he finished as he pulled away from the tight embrace.
felix could see that the younger was still feeling very down which caused the australian to frown "please cheer up and don't think about it too much." he mumbled before pulling something out of his hoodie pocket and handing it to the gloomy baby. he placed the chocolate bar on the younger's palm before patting his back with an encouraging smile.
felix picked the dimpled boy's cheeks "I know you love sweets so take this, it was supposed to be a gift for binnie so concider yourself lucky and enjoy it well. and you can watch my netflix so you can get your mind off of this, brighten up."
jeongin could see the effort that the older was making so he returned the smile happily "thank you, hyung."
"I bet you should go to changbin before he gets too impatient." he chuckled, pushing the male towards the door. felix flashed him an apologetic smile but didn't fight back, instead he blushed slightly while approaching the door backwards.
just when the australian was about to close the door, jeongin smirked before yelling,
"go get 'em, tiger!"
