"seungmin, it's okay, stop rambling."
"but-"
"it was an accident. you don't need to worry, i won't tell him." chan reassured the anxious redhead. they were sat on the bed in seungmin's and hyunjin's shared room.
seungmin heaved a sigh "still... i feel guilty."
the older patted the seungmin's back with a smile "kiddo, i know you thought i was hyunjin. so stop feeling guilty. besides, it's christmas soon so if you keep mourning about this, you won't be able to have as much fun. but if that kiss won't stop bothering you, tell my brother what happened. i'm sure he'll understand."
chan ruffled the younger's hair "and that wasn't your first kiss, was it?" he questioned.
seungmin shook his head "it wasn't."
"well then, cheer up and don't think about this too much. i'm going to out with jeongin today so if you feel like it, tell hyunjin."
seungmin returned the smile as he briefly hugged the shorter male before pulling away "thank you." he muttered, causing chan to chuckle "no problem. now go get your man and make sure to not kill the cat." he joked. before i could even react to his comment, he was already out of the door.
the hybrid then heaved a sighed before making his way towards the door as he also headed downstairs. as he stepped off the last stair, he glanced at hyunjin, who was now pouring some cat food into a cute small purple bowl with a huge grin on his face.
"oh seungmin, you're back. come here." the taller male called enthusiastically as he stood up from his crouching position. the younger did as he was told and approached hyunjin, sending a small glare towards the happily munching cat.
"i noticed you haven't even touched jackie, are you allergic or is something wrong?" hyunjin asked concerned as he gently ran his fingers through seungmin's red hair, almost making the younger purr, almost. he contained himself as he was still feeling annoyed and jealous by the fact that hyunjin was paying the cat more attention than his own fiance.
he shook his head 'no' nonethless "no, not exactly... i jㅡjust don't like her, that's all."
"oh.. should i take her to woojin's? i don't want to make you uncomfortable.."
seungmin stayed quiet for a moment. he really wanted to scream 'yes' because he really wasn't fond of the kitten at all. but at the same time, he knew how much hyunjin adored her. the red head heaved a sigh as he shook his head again.
"no, i don't hate her that much.. just pay attention to me too.." seungmin pouted as he whispered the last part.
"what was thㅡ" hyunjin paused mid-sentence as his stomach growled loudly, causing both of their eyes to trail towards his empty tummy.
the taller scratched his nape in embarrassment causing seungmin to giggle. honestly, hyunjin could listen to that beautiful sound all day long, he loved the younger's laugh
"i'll cook." the red head said as he headed into the kitchen.

"minho, are you insane? there's at least one insult or threat included whenever they talk about you. they all clearly hate you, and here you are, asking me to bring you to our christmas party? are you out of your mind!" jisung screeched at his boyfriend. he really wanted to beat some sense into his partner but fortunately there was a table separating them.
they were currently sat at jisung favourite cafe, about two kilometers away from his dorm, with two iced caramel lattes on the table in front of them.
minho sighed softly as he lifted his gaze to meet his boyfriend's eyes "i understand you're upset and worried, but i'm okay now. and the situation seungmin and i left off at really isn't how it seems. sungie, please trust me.."
jisung rolled his eyes, rubbing his temple as their discussion was already causing him a headache. he loved his boyfriend more than anything and he definitely didn't want him to get hurt, and taking him to hyunjin's place where the party is held is the biggest risk he could take.
"then tell me, how did your relationship end? you've never told me, maybe it's time to stop feeding me lies."
silence followed jisung's question. the shorter had always been patient with minho, he knew his difficulties better than anyone. he helped him get up from the pit he had fallen into and healed him from his past scars. he was the only one who understood the older. and the only thing he asked in return was honesty.
as the silence continued, the younger huffed in annoyance "that's what i thought." he mumbled as he gathered his things before standing up.
"you truly are an asshole, you know that right?" jisung said, tears welling up in both of their eyes before storming out of the quiet cafe.
