chan exited hyunjin's room with a smirk on his face before closing the door with a small chuckle. he thought hyunjin's face was hideous.

he quickly stopped by his room to grab his jacket from a hanger before catching up with his boyfriend. jeongin was already tying his shoelaces by the front door but chan noticed him struggling a bit.

he chuckled at the cute boy "i'll tie them for you." he cooed before kneeling in front of the younger who just let out a 'hmph' as he crossed his arms "i could've done it.." jeongin mumbled but chan knew better so he ignored his whines.

"ready! let's go then." chan clapped enthusiastically as he dusted his ripped jeans. he grabbed jeongin's hand as he led them outside.

as they were on their way to the mall, by feet since it was close by, the older noticed his boyfriend behaving oddly. the smaller was playing with the sleeves of his jacket while eyeing the ground as he kicked small rocks, pouting slightly.

chan furrowed his brows "innie, what's wrong?" he questioned softly which caused the younger to stop kicking the innocent rocks.

jeongin sighed, still not facing the older "...why do you not get jealous, like hyunjin," he mumbled.

"do you not like me enough..?" he asked as he finally locked eyes with the blonde, making chan's heart break from the sadness in his voice. why would the younger even think anything like that?

chan stopped in his tracks, taking hold of the latter's wrist in the process. "don't ever say anything like that, innie," he said with a frown, "i love you more than anything! and of course i get jealous."

jeongin blushed at his words but wasn't convinced "you never get jealous.."

the older grabbed his shoulders gently before heaving a sigh "believe me, i do. i got just as jealous as hyunjin when you hugged seungmin and when you hyped over him being a hybrid.. i just don't show it because i know you're best friends and it'd be unreasonable for me to get jealous over things like that. besides, i know you love me and you're mine so.." he ended with a mischievous grin as he pecked the tip jeongin's nose.

the smaller smiled happily before kissing the other's cheek, chan let out a sigh of relief before taking jeongin's hand in his once again, intertwining their fingers. "let's go!"

they reached the mall after a ten-minute walk, chan had told the younger that they're going to shop for clothes and accessories, maybe christmas presents, even though it was almost three weeks away. but jeongin got confused when they went pass the clothing stores "where are we going..?" he intrigued as he looked towards chan curiously.

the older's cheeks flushed light pink "i just wanted to cheer you up, so here we are.." he mumbled embarrassed as he stopped in front of colorful shop. "i figured you'd like to look around here."

jeongin eyes sparkled as he observed the plushie store "wow! they're so cute!" he squealed as he dragged chan into the store. even after almost 15 minutes, they were still looking around- or more like jeongin pulling him around like a dog as he wanted every plushie he laid his eyes on.

"innie, we can't buy them all.."

"why?"

"because you already have so many."

"fine.. can i have four?"

"isn't that too many?

"no! if anything, it's too little." jeongin pouted

chan sighed in defeat "three, period."

"thank you, channie! i'll take these!" jeongin giggled as he showed the older what he had found. the stuffed animals that he chose were a koala, a fox and a cat plushie. "see? it's like you, seungmin and i! can you hand the cat one to seungmin for me?"

chan ruffled his hair with a grin "of course, he'll be very happy about it!" he said before kissing top of the smaller's head tenderly.

the older grabbed the three plushies from jeongin before making his way towards the cashier, handing him his credit card.

the blonde thanked the cashier before walking out of the store with the younger by his side. "he looked totally familiar. did you see him?" chan whispered in jeongin's ear suspiciously. the younger nodded in agreement, his eyes now on flames from anger.

"yup, it's seungmin's ex, for sure."
