"minnie~ wake up . ." the redhead heard lightly calling out to him but in response he just grunted and turned the face the other way.
when he felt someone shaking him lightly he just pulled the cushion further until it reached his nose, hoping that the sleep intruder got the hint to leave him alone. the christmas party the previous evening had taken quite a turn when chan pulled a few alcohol bottles from the cabinets, of course including a juice for jeongin. and so, the effect the alcohol has a lot to do with why he doesn't want to get out of bed. let's just say that he almost finished the drinks by himself, but very much regrets it now and definitely made a mental note of not drinking for a long while.
he heard a deep sigh from behind him "seungmin," the voice repeated, which he now after waking up a bit more, recognizes as hyunjin. "i have plans for us today so if you don't get up in count to three, i'm going to carry you to the shower."
seungmin once again groaned and mentally attempted to tell his body to get up. but as he got no response, he decided to relax his body under the covers, "would you wash me as well. . ?" the younger sassed back even though he was clearly not in the position to get cocky, feeling tiredness slowly take him over.
hyunjin chuckled, "oh minnie, if you just let me."
it took a while for seungmin to comprehend his words but when he heard the taller start counting, he jumped up as the cover flew to the floor, "i'm up!" he mumbled, wobbling a little because his blood pressure was playing tricks on him for getting up so quickly.
the older just laughed at his condition but still proceeded to hold his waist for support. however what fully woke seungmin up was when he rubbed tiredness from his eyes and suddenly felt hyunjin's soft lips leave a peck on his lips.
"morning."
seungmin jumped slightly from shock but quickly recovered, turning his head to side as he felt his cheeks warm up. hyunjin was waiting for a embarrassed retort from the younger but when felt the younger cup his cheeks, he couldn't hold his smile, seeing his flustered expression as he returned the gesture, kissing lips briefly. "good morning. ." the smaller mumbled before stepping into the bathroom.
right as he was about to exit to make the table (as he had already cooked some hangover soup for seungmin and the ones who stayed the night) heard the younger call out to him from the bathroom. he hummed in response, letting seungmin know he was listening.
"what plans?" the redhead questioned.
hyunjin smiled at the question, "honey, it's a surprise. i know you hate them but i promise you'll like this one!" the taller could imagine the pout on the younger's face but he won't let his guard down, though he probably would have ended up giving the surprise away if the younger was in front of him looking at him with those puppy eyes.
"fine. ."
"don't be so down," hyunjin chuckled, "come down when you're done, i made breakfast!" he called out after he heard the younger hum in response.

"thank you for the food!" seungmin piped up after finishing his bowl of soup, followed by minho and jisung who had stayed the night since minho, who was supposed to drive, passed out from the alcohol.
"next time control your alcohol, kids." hyunjin scolded them, as if minho wasn't older, as he washed their dishes.
"and seungmin, you should go change, we'll be leaving whenever you're ready. casual clothes are fine." he announced, not leaving his attention from the plates.
"okay, i'll be quick." seungmin said before running upstairs, but not without leaving an almost unnoticeable peck on the taller's cheek.

seungmin groaned as he kicked his legs childishly, "are we there yet?" he pouted, asking the same question for the nth time even though the ride had only taken 20 minutes. well it was understandable as the older had asked him to close his eyes for the whole ride and to try and sleep.
hyunjin smiled at he cute behavior, "actually yes, we're just around the corner." he responded, laughing at the way the younger started to get even more fidgety and impatient.
it took only five more minutes before seungmin felt the car stop, "now?"
"yes, seungmin, but don't open your eyes yet." he ordered, earning a nod from the redhead.
soon hyunjin was already guiding the younger out of the car and as the got closer to the building, he signaled for the person on the porch to not make a sound.
as they climbed up the stairs, he whispered the smaller to open his eyes, smile visible in his voice. seungmin slowly opened his left eye and gasped when he saw who was in front of him, his eyes widening.
"hello, seungmin." the man greeted with a sweet smile.
"dad!" the younger yelled in delight jumping into his embrace, "i missed you so much!" he mumbled against his father's chest.
"me too." he responded as they pulled away.
seungmin tilted his head "how come you're in korea? i though you were abroad working. ."
his father nodded, "hyunjin contacted me two weeks ago, telling me how you had missed me and asked me to pay a brief visit, i'll be returning to france the day after tomorrow though."
"but shall we go inside? it's quite cold this time of the year." the oldest said, not really giving them time to answer before opening the door for the two to step inside.
"i'll go make some hot chocolate for you us but seungmin will lead you to the living room."
seungmin rolled his eyes, "don't you remember, hyunjin has been here before, how could he forget such a traumatizing event?" the youngest chuckled, but let his father off the hook as he took hyunjin hand and sat them on the couch for two, never letting go of his hand but instead intertwined their fingers.
hyunjin leaned over to place him phone on the small table just in front of them and returned to his position before looking over to seungmin, who was already looking at him.
"thank you, jinnie, this made me really happy." there was pure sincerity in the younger's eyes and it didn't go unnoticed by hyunjin as he hummed in response. the taller couldn't take the endearing expression on the smaller's face and without a second thought, he connected their lips into a sweet kiss. hyunjin gently cupped the latter's face as seungmin placed his hand on his nape, deepening the kiss as both of them forgot they were currently in the younger's dad's living room. the smaller shifted into a more comfortable position so that he was facing the older on the couch, placing his right leg in between the latter's. right when seungmin was impatiently about to trace the taller's lower lip for access, they heard seungjae clear his throat.

hello lovelies, your girl woke up from the death : ) i wrote a little longer chapter since i was gone for so long and since i will have exam week in two weeks and won't be able to write!
but my motivation has returned !
