an awkward silence fell into the room after the couple left for their date.
seungmin cleared his throat as he tilted his head "what was that?" he questioned, motioning towards hyunjin's pocket.
"o-oh umh, it's just a pack of gum." hyunjin laughed awkwardly as he scratched his nape.
the smaller furrowed his brows as he eyed the older suspiciously "what does gum have to do with safety?"
hyunjin shifted uncomfortably "..uhh, i-i forgot to brush my teeth, haha.."
the taller faked a gasp "i think i forgot my coffee, it must cold by now, i should make some more.." he trailed off as he took steps towards the door, walking backwards.
the shorted nodded but stopped the other as he realized "wait a minute, you don't like coffee.. you're lying." he said as he squinted his eyes. hyunjin's eyes wandered around the room, avoiding the smaller's gaze as he was thinking for an excuse.
"i-i meant t-tea, y--yeah, i'm so scatterbrained." he stuttered, his back colliding with the door as he saw the younger walk towards him. the younger chuckled, now in front of hyunjin "you're such a bad liar.." he cooed with his hands resting on his hips.
"w-what, i'm not lying!" he said confidently, but seungmin didn't buy it. hyunjin had a habit of touching his ear when he's nervous or lying and that's exactly what he was doing.
the smaller grinned "liar~" as he daringly inched even closer to the older with his arms behind his back, his white tail slowly swaying from left to right.
without any shame he brushed his fingers against the older's jawline, causing hyunjin's eyes to widen "w-what are you doing, i'm not lying, i swear!" he said, sounding panicked.
"you swear?" seungmin questioned. he lifted his brows slightly with his ears perked up as the corners of his lips curved the tiniest bit in amusement "then, what is this?" he said knowingly as he lifted his free hand, a small condom packet between his index finger and middle finger.
hyunjin eyes widened with his mouth agape "w-what, h--how-" he stuttered but was cut off by the younger's finger pressing against his lips gently "shh.." he hushed the taller as a seductive smirk appeared on his face.
"well.." he muttered as his index finger now drew circles on hyunjin's chest. his hand grazed from the older's jawline to rest on his shoulder as he drew even closer to the latter, their bodies slightly touching.
seungmin tiptoed towards hyunjin's ear. the taller breath hitched as the shorted suddenly got so close. he shuddered as he felt the smaller's breath against his skin "we shouldn't let it got to waste.." seungmin purred into his ear seductively, his tail slightly brushing against the taller's skin.
"s-seungmin, w--what are you talking about??"
the smaller chuckled "you know what i mean.." he whispered as his lips inched toward the older's, his eyes now fixated on the latter's extremely soft kissable lips.
he was just teasing the taller but he couldn't lie, he really wanted to kiss him, especially after being interrupted like that not even ten minutes ago. but on the other hand, hyunjin was a nervous wreck. he didn't know what to do, he had been so confident before but that was long gone. his heart was beating so fast that he thought it would explode if the younger didn't put some distance between them. his face was as red as a tomato and his hands were shaking slightly.
his eyes flickered between the younger's lips and his eyes as he licked his lips, gulping anxiously. after he couldn't take the closeness anymore as it was getting extremely hot for him in the room, his hand started grazing against the door looking for the handle as if his life depended on it. when he finally came in contact with the metal, he didn't hesitate twisting it as he stumbled backwards, his back hitting the floor. he scrambled back on his feet as he fled down the stairs and he screamed on top of his lungs "chan! jeongin! someone, help me!" hyunjin cried out as he made his way towards the front door "seungmin is being weird!".
he closed his eyes while trying to catch his uneven breath as he pressed his back against the door, deciding not to go out as he would most likely die of hypothermia. he opened his eyes when he heard the younger shuffling down the stairs "jinnie.. where are you?" hyunjin started to panic again but let out a sigh as he realized how much of a loser he was, running away from his freaking fiance. when the smaller spotted hyunjin he smiled "there you are." he walked in front of the taller.
"you know i was just teasing you, right?" he cooed as he ruffled the latter's fluffy hair.
"i do, i was just caught off guard.." hyunjin mumbled, now embarrassed.
seungmin giggled as he cupped the older's cheeks "didn't fail to notice.."
the taller rolled his eyes playfully as he wrapped his arms around the smaller boy's petite waist. he stared into his eyes in adoration with a smile before brushing aside a stray hair that had fallen on the shorter's features. the younger returned gesture as he smiled sweetly at him, causing butterflies to erupt in the taller's stomach.
hyunjin sighed contently,
i think i might have fallen in love with him already..
