"h-how come?" hyunjin stuttered as they were now seated on a small couch for two at the backroom of the servo.
"what do you mean? you won the quiz that I was the prize of, as simple as that.." seungmin trailed off, trying to avoid the actual reason. he let out a soft sigh of relief since he really thought his lie was successful when the older leaned to the couch, searching for a more comfortable position.
"but you, or someone else wouldn't put you as the prize for fun. there must be some reason, am I right?" the older intrigued as he tilted his head towards seungmin.
"w-well-"
"I didn't expect you to be here already, I heard rumors that someone finally won my dear son-" a man in their late 40s entered the room with a loud applause and a wide grin.
but seungmin was smart enough to cut the man off before anything off topic would be said, "father!" the youngest screeched with his cheeks bright shade of red.
"oh, so they weren't just rumors, congratulations!" the man, known as seungmin's father stepped into the room and sat on a chair in front of the two, only a small table separating them.
"excuse me, but what's going on..?" hyunjin butted in as his brows were furrowed in confusion.
"seungmin didn't tell you yet?" I just nodded as a response and he just chuckled before saying the words that I would've never guessed I would hear.
"I want you to marry my son."
