It's been two days since I lost Jake and since my surgery. I finally got out of the God forsaken hospital and now I'm sitting in David's Tesla as we make our way to my apartment to pick up the stuff I need and Max.
When we get there we get to the elevator and I press three. David gets the spare key from under the mat and unlocks the door. He gets Max and the stuff he needs and I make my way to my room to make a couple bags. I grab one of Jake's sweatshirts that I had stolen from him and inhale the scent. It smells like him. A single tear streams down my cheek and I pack the rest of my stuff. My clothes, makeup, and stuff. David takes my bags and holds Max as I lock the door.
"Can you take me to Jake's house," I ask him when we get in the car.
"Yeah," he says softly, looking at me with sympathetic eyes.
I told him where to go and he stays in the car as I make my way up to the front door. I take out the key that Jake had given me and I unlock the door and make my way to the elevator in his house. I pressed the two and waited for it to go up. I crutched to his bedroom and sat on his bed. I pick up a picture of the two of us and hold it close to me.
"I love you, Jakey," I whispered.
"Izzy," a woman said. I looked up and saw Jakes mother.
"M-Mrs. Alburn," I said standing. "Mrs. Alburn, I'm so sorry I came I just-"
"No need to be sorry, Sweetie. You lost the man you love."
  I smiled lightly.
"I just came to get a few of our pictures and a couple of his sweatshirts," I said.
"You can have all the clothes you want Sweetie," Mrs. Alburn laughed. "I came here because I knew you would be here and Jake wanted to give you this but obviously, he couldn't."
She handed me a small and large box that looked like it held jewelry. I opened the two boxes and was stunned to see what was inside. A pair of diamond earrings and a matching necklace.
"Mrs. Alburn I-I can't accept this," I said shocked.
"You have no choice, Sweetie," she said. "Please take them. For Jake?"
I smiled lightly and placed them in a box that she gave me along with all our pictures. I walked into his closet and grabbed his sweatshirts, t-shirts, joggers, and dress shirts, putting them all into the box. I said goodbye to Mrs. Alburn and made my to the elevator pushing the box carefully with my crutch.
I got to David's car and he grabbed the box for me. I sat in the seat and we drove to his house.

When we get into the house Nathalie gave me the biggest hug.
"Nathalie you just saw me yesterday," I said, almost choking.
"I know but I just feel like I need to give you the biggest hug every time I see you," she said. "I mean I could've lost you."
"I'm gonna go put your stuff in your room," David whispered to me.
"He really loves you," Nathalie said when it was clear that David left.
"I know," I responded, looking at the floor. "But he also loves Liza."
"And you love Ilya. But do you love David, too?"
"I don't know. He's my best friend, ya know?"
  "Yeah, I know."
