It was getting late so I decided to take a shower and go to bed. After I got out of the shower I put on one of David's sweatshirts that I stole from him and a pair of black Nike shorts. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and made my way into bed.
I tossed and turned all night, not able to get any sleep. 'I love you,' was tossing around in my head. I finally decided to get up and go to David's room. I threw open the door and turned on the light.
"Izzy," he groaned, turning over trying to cover his face from the sudden light.
"Listen," I started, starting to pace in front of his room. "I know what you said this morning David. I can't stop thinking about it, which is not fair by the way because I need my sleep. Those three little words can really change a person's life, David. Especially mine, which is already fucked up enough. So I just have one question, why?"
"Are you done, now," he said, standing up.
"Yes," I responded, crossing my arms.
"I said it by accident. I didn't mean to say it. I was just used to saying it because when I would drop Liza off somewhere, I would always saw I love you."
"Hm," I hummed. "You're lying."
"No, I'm not."
"Yes you are."
"No I am not," David said standing up now.
"Yes," I said. "You are. And I will prove it, David Julian."
"There's nothing to prove, Isabel Sophia."
David's face was now only a mere three inches from mine, as we glared at each other. Both of our eyes fluttered to each other's lips and in the next moment they were connected. This kiss wasn't like any other kiss I've ever had. When I kissed Ilya and Dom, I didn't have this feeling. The only time I even felt remotely close to this was when I kissed Jake, and I loved Jake. I love David.
"Ok I lied," David said, when we pulled away. "I do love you."
"I know David," I giggled, biting my lip slightly. "I love you, too."
David smiled, looking like a child on Christmas.

I know a short but sweet one.
