It's been two months since my doctor's appointment. Everything was finally going back to normal and I was excited. I only had a few finals left and then I was finished with my first year of law school.

I was sitting in my living room, studying and drinking coffee when I heard the front door open. I looked up confused then I saw David walk through.

"I'm starting to regret giving you a key to my apartment now," I stated when David sat next to me.

"You love me, though," he said, putting his arm around my shoulders and kissing my cheek.

  "Forever and always."

"Forever and always," David repeated. "Wanna go get Chipotle."

"David I have to study," I said looking at him.

"And you can take a break to come get Chipotle, because if I know you, and I do, I know that you haven't eaten today at all because you've been studying."

"Fine," I said, sighing. David started smiling like an idiot before standing up and reaching out his hand for me to take. I took his hand and stood up. David intertwined our fingers and pulled me out the door.

"Wait my wallet," I said as he continued to pull me.

  "Why would you need that?"

"Because I need to pay for my food."

  "No you don't I'll pay."

I rolled my eyes and sighed as I let David pull me over to the stairs.

"Hop on," he said motioning to his back.

"What," I asked him, looking at him like he was completely insane.

"I don't want you to get hurt anymore than you already are, so I'll carry you down."

"David you realize I'm almost completely fine now right?"

"Just get on."

"David-"

"Listen here you little German Nazi," he said grabbing my cheeks.

'Did he just call me a Nazi,' I thought to myself.

"I'm trying to be a good boyfriend and help you prevent getting hurt anymore. So get on my back, Isabel Miller."

I rolled my eyes and jumped on his back.

"And I'm not a Nazi," I huffed out.

"I know," he responded, I could hear the smile in his voice.

When we got down the stairs I hopped off of David's back and watched as he put his hands on his hips, slightly out of breath.

"You good over there," I asked him.

"Just give me a second," he said, holding up a finger to signify wait.

"If you just let me walk down the stairs by myself, we would already be on our way to Chipotle."

"All right, let's go," he said, walking over next to me.

He opened the car door for me and once I sat down he closed it, before walking over to his side of the car.

I started to fall asleep on our way to Chipotle. I hadn't really slept in the past three days. I devoted most of my time to studying.

"I hate you for making come get food with you," I said once we sat down after getting our burritos.

  "Why," he asked confused.

"Because all I can think about are laws and statues."

"Well I wanted to get you out of the house. I know how you get around tests. You haven't changed since we were kids."

  "That's not true. I've changed."

  "Really?"

  "Mhm."

"So you've gotten more than two hours of sleep in the past week?"

  "Well-"

"And you've eaten more than just a banana or an apple in the past week?"

I was at loss for words. He really did know me.

"You have no room to talk," I stated. "I know you stay up to at least four in the morning editing your videos."

  "Izzy, that's my job."

"At least you know you'll succeed."

"What are you talking about? You'll do great on these tests. You're too smart to fail. You haven't failed a test since that one spelling test in first grade."

I smiled as a way of saying thanks. David's too good for me.
