Chaol slid me down the wall back onto my feet, pressing his lips against mine, his brow soaked in sweat. I grinned up at him, as he pulled his trousers back up and I fixed my night gown. "Morning." He chuckled, doing up his belt, with indetermitant kisses.
I laughed walking over to the breakfast table with wobbly knees, Chaol's hands still running over me, his lips on my neck. "I only wanted breakfast." I joked, smearing butter onto toast. He kissed me, just as passionate as his first kiss this morning. He reached over grabbing an apple. "And I only wanted you." I could smell his morning breath.
He bit into the apple, holding it between his teeth as he sorted out paper on the table. I sneaked between him and the desk, bitting into the apple. "Guess we both got our desires this morning."

There was a knock on the door. Chaol rolled his eyes, pulling his hands away from where they were trying to sneak under my dressing gown again. He pulled open the door slightly, shoving his muscular body in the gap. "Hello?" Chaol asked, not trying to hide his messed up hair and obvious I just had sex face.
A small voice chirped up from on the other side of him. "The queen sent me to remind princess y/n that she arranged to meet her majesty today."
"Shit." I cursed, chomping down the toast. "I completely forgot about that, fuck, I'm going to be so late." I rushed around trying to get ready - I scurried over to the bed side cabinet pulling out a small vile. Normally I would mix the contraceptive drink into something sugary to hide the awful taste, but today I just downed it, gaging on the sour aftertaste. Chaol shut the door, smirking as he came over. "You don't have to take that." He said pressing wet lips to the base of my neck. I groaned, latching my hands into his hair. "I really need to go Chaol."
He slipped his fingers into my inner thigh. "I'm sure the queen would understand if you were a little late, seeing as you can easily get lost in this castle."
I tremmered in his arms, then reluctantly pushed him back, my better judgement getting control. "No I should really go, she's organised this whole big day of entertainers and shopping." I grumbled moving over to the closet.
"You hate all of those." Chaol chuckled following me like a lost puppy. "But you love me."
I rolled my eyes as I pulled a dress off its hanger. "Think I would rather the shopping thanks."
He growled taking the dress out my hands. "Let me help you." And eagerly took my night gown off.

I tripped Chaol up as I met him in the corridor, laughing as he stumbled embarrassed in front of his fellow guards. "Ugh its you." He smirked, looping an arm around me. "How was your day with the queen?"
I sighed, pulling him towards the great hall, following his bunch of friends. "It was alright.... lots of trying on dresses and talking about lady stuff very politly."
He chuckled, as we walked over to the food, grabbing bowls of stew. The crowds of people rushing in, the king having lots of guests around at the moment. The castle piled high with people. There had been so many strange woman at the queens event. All talking about marriage and stupid babies, everyone commenting on how old I was to not be married.
"Sounds boring." Chaol said, scooping a huge bowl - it was his favourite.
I laughed, boring only skimmed it.
We went and sat on the far bench with a load of Chaol's friends, sat side by side. I played a few poison games with his friends - they made bets on which drink out of three was safe. My money pile grew bigger with each round. Then the excitement died down we laughed about the times we had all thrashed Ross on the training ground, laughed at the time Richard fell off his horse into a pile of manure.

I laughed into Chaol's neck, intertwining our fingers. I let the others talk as I surveyed the room, my eyes connecting with someone on the far side. The dark skinned girl blushed and flashed her head back down to the table at her fingertips. I frowned, why was she staring at me. She flashed up another look, her hand scribbling away on the table. "Is she staring at us?" I whispered squeezing Chaol's hands.
Chaol frowned, and shrugged. "She may be."
I turned to Richard, who all the guys called Dickie. "Who is that girl?"
Dickie, smirked brushing his beard. "No one really knows, apparently she is here representing a woman's guild."
I shivered at the name, those places I feared, I hated. The way elderly women ruled over the younger ones, manipulating them to believe that pleasure was a sin, no matter if it was laughter or sex. It was a sin in their eyes.
Chaol could sense the tension, turning his attention to Dickie.
"Why is she here?" I asked, unable to watch as the girl with frizzy brown hair, brushed back tightly scribbled more and more.
Dickie shrugged, the symbol on his breast pocket moving upwards. "No one knows... although I've heard she speaks Eyllwe."
I stood up, locking onto the girl. I ran my hand over my abdomen, I could almost feel the Eyllwe rebellion symbol burnt into my skin. I was proud of it. I wanted to show it off with pride but Chaol had told me that was suicidal. He grabbed my hand. "Y/n, sit back down." I pulled my hand out. "I'm just going to say hello."
And walked around the tables to the girl.

Under her pen nib was a sheet of paper, covered in lines of all shades. She looked up to me, her eyes bluer than the richest ocean. She was dressed in deep purple, laced with simple white fabric, twisted elegantly all over her body. "Why are you staring at Chaol and I?" I asked, sitting down on the empty bench besides her. I knew Chaol was watching us carefully, undoubtly checking to see if it was safe. She peeled her arms back from the paper. "I often draw at supper. I happened to pick you two to draw."
There we were on the sheet, hands interlocked, my smiling face crooning into his neck, his eyes of adoration watching down at me. "That's stunning." I,said amazed, it captured him perfectly, and the way I loved him.
"It's not my finest," she spoke with her head held high. "You can keep it if that pleases you."
I nodded, and folded up the paper, pocketing it. "I'm y/n."
She smiled, her teeth dazling white. "My name is Saskia."
"Are you from Eyllwe?" I asked, leaning closer, the air around us going chilly.
She only smiled slyly, looking over to the royal table, Dorian sat to his mother's left looking bored to death. He flashed me a cheeky smile, his blue eyes gleaming with mischief.
"I am from near the boarder." She said, her voice thickening with an accent.
I pierced my lips, trying to stop the questions flying out of me. The boarder, that meant near home, locations the rebels would undoubtedly be passing through. Was Rowan getting involved in them? Korgan still selling the rebels his swords? I loved my brothers, but they were awful when it came to writting letters - to me especailly.
"Can we meet up some time more private?" I asked.

A hand rested on my shoulder, the face of the young captain smirking down at me. "Do you want to go?"
I wrapped my arms around him, giving him a small peck. I did want to stay with Saskia, but it would be awkward if Chaol sat with us.... and I liked the idea that Chaol had in mind. I turned to Saskia, all the guards in the corner gagging, and applauding as they knew what Chaol was after. Men?! Honestly.
"You don't mind if I head do you?"
She shook her head, smiling again. "No of course not."
I paused amazed she was relaxed about it, most women with her believes would have shamed me, most did as I walked around the castle.
"I'll see soon though?"
I nodded, a small bubble at the thought of someone wanting to hang out with me. I had a friend. I took Chaol's hand and we left, the guards behind us making holes and sticking their fingers through them as we left. They were so immature?!  Which I then just put down to them being jealous that Chaol could get a woman.
