Back to Normal

Matteo will stay for dinner. But for now, nasa garden lang sila, nagkukulitan at nagkwekwentuhan. Balik na ulit sila sa dati.

Nang lumapit si Ate Rona sa amin. "Mam Sarah, may nagdeliver po nito para daw po sa inyo.", sabay abot ng bouquet of yellow tulips sa kanya.

Bago niya kinuha ang bouquet tumingin muna siya kay Matteo na halatang naiirita at saka kinuha ang card at binasa,

"I hope these flowers made you smile. I know you're not okay. But always remember, Baby Girl, there are so many reasons for you to smile."

I know it's from Gerald. Ang galing lang ng timing naman talaga ng loko. "Ate Rona, gusto mo? Sayo na lang yan.", sabi niya kay Ate Rona at pagkatapos ay giniyumos ang card. Itatapon na sana niya sa basurahan nang umimik si Matteo.

"Can I read it?", Matteo said then lend his hand.

Inabot ko naman agad sa kanya. Nang mabasa niya biglang dumilim ang mukha nito. Saka ginuyumos ang card na hawak.

Umupo ako sa tabi niya then hold his hand. "Hey, what was that sharp look for?", but he didn't say anything. "Hayaan mo na yun."

"Love, it was just frustrating on my side. Mukhang didiskarte pa ata ang lokong yon habang alam nila na hindi tayo okay.", naiinis na sabi ni Matteo.

"Tama na yan. Useless yan. Tsaka yan yung sinasabi nating pagseselos."

"Well, yeah. You're right. I just can't help it. Iba pa rin siyang tumingin sayo. Simula nung Christmas Special, nung napanood ko yung video niya na wala siyang ginawa kundi tumingin sayo. Damn that Gerald!"

"No foul words, please."

"I'm sorry. Hindi ko lang mapigilan ang sarili ko."

"Tama na, bad vibes agad, e kakabati lang natin.", then I lean on his shoulders. And then he hugged me.

"Mam Sarah, Sir Matteo, ready na daw po ang dinner. Kumain na daw po kayong dalawa sabi ng Mommy niyo.", sabi ni Ate Che.

Pumunta na sila ni Matteo sa dining area para kumain. Sila lang tatlo ng Ate Jo niya. Hihintayin daw ni Mommy si Daddy para sabayang kumain.

"Matteo, ikaw ha. Pag ikaw inulit mo pa. Naku.", sabi ni Ate Jo kay Matteo.

"Ate, hindi na mauulit yun. Sorry kung pinalungkot ko si Sarah ng isang linggo.", Matteo said.

"Ate, tinatakot mo naman si Matteo e.", saka sila nagtawanang tatlo.

After dinner, Hindi rin masyadong nagpagabi si Matteo. Dedertso kasi ito sa shooting ng movie niya for the MMFF 2014.

"Love, I'll see you tomorrow. I have to go. 9:00pm call time namin e."

"I'm not sure Love. Dalawa ang corporate shows ko tomorrow. But I'll update you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay. No problem.", pagkasabi ni Matteo ay hinawakan nito ang mga kamay niya. "Love, thank you."

"Okay na yun. Basta wag na lang ulitin ha.", sabi ko dito.

Niyakap siya nito. Pagkatapos ay sinabing, "Thank you for everything. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko kung hindi mo ko napatawad. I love you."

"I love you too."

Hinatid ko siya sa gate. Bago siya sumakay sa kotse nito ay bumalik siya sa harapan ko then he gave me a peck on my lips. "Oops! Muntik ko nang makalimutan.", sabay ngiti saka sumakay ng sasakyan niya.

Pagpasok niya ng bahay nakita niya ang Ate niyang inaayos ang tulips na galing kay Gerald.

"Oh, Ate. Bat nilagay mo pa sa vase yan. Binigay ko na yan kay Ate Rona e."

"E ang ganda kaya. Sayang."

"Buti na lang wala na si Matteo."

"Ito naman, okay lang yun. Back to normal na naman kayo ni Matteo e. Saka bulaklak lang to."

"Ewan ko sayo, Ate. Bahala ka na nga diyan.", saka ako umakyat papunta ng kwarto.

Matteo's POV

Upon arriving here at the airport for our shooting, I texted Sarah to update her. Mas madalas ako ngayong mag-update compare dati. Kasi, I want to show Sarah how much I value the chance she gave me after the SMB.

"Love, andito na ko sa airport. I'm with my co-actors na. Waiting. I love you."

Then I got a reply from her,

"Okay. Good luck, Love. I love you too. Need to rest early ha for tomorrow."

"No problem, Love. Have a good night. I love you."

"Thanks, Love. You take care ha. I love you too."

End of their conversation. He's with Daniel Matsunaga, Kiray and IC. Their topic, Hunger Games.

I was about to think another way to celebrate their 11th. He wants something unique na hind pa nila na-try pareho. Then IC, brought up the Archery thing.

His eyes widened. "Right! Archery!! Sarah wants to try it ever since." Then I start to ask questions to IC.

"Wow! Archery! Do we have here in Manila where we can try it?"

"Oo. Meron. Sa Pasig. Its called Gandiva Archery they have Café rin. Same building. Some celebrities pumupunta don madalas, Like Richard Gomez. Are you interested?", IC asked me.

"Yeah. Actually, my Girlfriend wants to try it noon pa. I was thinking na dalhin siya don and try archery."

"Talaga? I can help you, Matteo."

"Thank you, IC.", then I smile.

I still have two more days to prepare our Archery date. With the help of IC, naayos lahat from renting the whole venue to customized target pad.

Can't wait to see my Sarah do some Archery with me.
