Phillip Carlyle was mosts definitely being followed.

Darting through the twists and turns of the floating city of Venezia, what started as a light evening stroll quickly grew into a race with the mysterious figure behind him.
Left.
Left.
Right.
Ducking his head, Phillip made sure his hood was obscuring his features to passers by as he clenched his fists.
Right.
Left.
If it was a fight they wanted then it was a fight they will get.
Right.
Stop.
Silently, and so light on his feet, he scarcely made a sound, Phillip ducked through a small hidden archway that led to a secluded courtyard. Now all he had to do was lie in wait.

Like a viper, Phillip's hand shot out and grabbed his pursuer as he passed the archway, slamming his back against the wall of the courtyard and unhesitatingly extended the hidden blade from where it resided against his left wrist. The speed at which the bite of the viper leapt towards the assailants neck was intimidating, but not more so than the accuracy as the very tip of the blade merely grazed the skin below his chin, a singular drop of blood rolling down the blade.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
The unfaltering grin on the man before him was beginning to unnerve Phillip as his gaze followed the right hand of the man trapped before him as he raised a familiar bag of coins.
"I'm Phineas. Also, you dropped this."
