Today sounds kinda weird.... I mean Alex never leaves a voice message to me and he would rather have called me instead. I played this message and it said,"Hey Chris! I could not reach your phone but there is something really important I gotta tell you. So please come to the cafeteria during lunch and I will be there". By now, I could hear my mom shouting from downstairs saying,"Benny you are you ready? It is getting late for school". This is what wakes me up most of the mornings and if I don't get ready and go down, my mom will almost literally hit me in the head with a wooden chair. So I got ready and went downstairs and my mom said,"Finally! I have been waiting for you for such a long time and I am going to be dropping you to school today as I have a little work in the same lane. So get into the car quickly". I grabbed my backpack, got into the car and fastened my seatbelt and my mom drove me to school. I got down at school and I peeped through the window and said,"Bye ma! Have a great day!" and headed to class. I was supposed to be called for the practice session and that never seemed to happen as I was sitting in the most BORING history classes and they did nothing but blabber about the town planning of various civilisations around the world and I still wonder how my life would change after knowing about the material and the shapes of various utensils those people used.
Finally there was this boy who knocked on the classroom door and said,"Is Chris Willows here?" I raised my hand to let him know I was here and he told me to go near the flag post of the school for practice. I was finally free from this DUMB HISTORY CLASS.
I went to the flag post to only wait for an hour and I was told that I was appointed with the thank you speech that was only going to be on the last day and whose script was to be given the day before. The bell for lunch rang sooner than I thought and I ran to meet Alex. My wait had finally ended and I wanted to know what was the matter. I ran through the corridor and I bumped into this girl.
I dropped all her books and I immediately went to pick them up. She sat down to pick them up and she was GORGEOUS. I saw the label on her book and her name was Jessica Heart.
She had dark brown eyes and long straight black hair. Her eyes glow just like the stars during the night and if I had a chance, I could look at them forever. She had beautiful features and she seemed to be from India. Was this girl crafted by the angels above and dropped to Earth from the heavens above? It looks like it. And the very first time I saw her, I was madly in love with her. I gave her the books and ran towards the cafeteria to tell Alex.
Alex waved at me from the table and I went and sat next to him and he said,"Chris, I kinda have feelings for a girl named Ashley". I said,"Oh! That's great news bro!Go talk to her and ask her out and try to confront yourself and before all this, don't forget about the treat you owe me!"
Alex giggled and there was awkward silence. Alex looked at me and asked,"Who is the girl?"
I was dumbfounded and asked him,"How did you know I liked a girl?"
He smiled at me and said, "The cafeteria has a glass window, Chris....."
