An Olive Green Sweater

Bliss

"Come here and sit"
I heard Chris say this and he was patting lightly on the cot with his hand. I walked there and sat to see a tray with breakfast for me- A cup of coffee, toasted bread and a little butter. I took the coffee cup and saw that there was a smiley of cream on it. I quickly saw Chris and I could see a smile at the corner of his lips. I drank the coffee and took a bite of the bread and it was made so perfectly with the right amount of butter and was toasted golden brown. I enjoyed every bite and every sip of the coffee and it was more special to me as he made it. He said,
"I am going to class for about an hour...is that okay?"
"Ya...what would be wrong with that?"
"Meanwhile Alex is gonna come over and spend time with you".
"Ok ya!"
After a while, he was all ready to go and before he went, he came into the room and said, "Bye take care..."
And while he was going, he kissed me on the forehead and left. Alex came over after a while and sat on the couch in the room and was talking to me. He said,
"He loves you so much that he woke up early in the morning, walked to the grocery store, got bread and milk for your breakfast and made it and gave it to you".
"Oh..."
"And he never has cooked before".
"That's so sweet of him..."
"All he talks with me is only about you and how much he loves you".
I was really very happy when I heard this and I was at most of what bliss could offer. I was then talking to Alex about school and other stuff and Chris sent me a text saying,
"Hey! You want me to pick you up something while I come back?"
Alex said, "I can text him for you".
"Sure".
Saying this, I gave the phone to him and I asked him to text saying,
"Hi!
It would be great if you got me a book from the library"
"Which one?"
"Twilight"
"Anything else?"
"Nothing...."
"Want to eat something?"
"No...I'm not hungry".
"Ok then take care and bye!😘"
"Bye!😃"
After he texted for me, he saw that Chris's contact was saved with a heart emoji like:
Chris❤️

He started to tease me with that and after a while, Chris was at the door, ringing the bell and Alex went to take it. Chris came into the room with his school bag on one shoulder and had my Twilight book in his hand. He came to me, put my book there on the table next to the bed and kissed me on the forehead. He looked at me and said, "How have you been?"
"Good until now but great since you are here...."
"I picked a few muffins on the way back. Eat them when you feel like."
"Sure and thanks for the book".
"My pleasure".
Saying this, he went to the living area and I could hear him talking to Alex. I took the book and placed it on the pillow on my lap and rested comfortably on the pillows behind me. I opened the book and started to read....

"Hey Jessi-"
I saw her dozed off with the book on her lap. She looked beautiful even when she slept-her face relaxed, her hair messed up in a cute manner and her calm eyes.
I went and closed the book, took the pillow off her lap, took her head gently into my arms and removed a pillow and rested her head on on the other one that was still in bed and pulled a sheet onto her. I adjusted the thermostat in a way she wouldn't feel too hot nor too cold. I went to the living area and watched TV for a while and started to study there itself. I heard the door bell and I went to took it and I was shocked to see who it was....
