Changes....

"Hey Abigail! Come in."
"Hi!"
"Come in"
Saying this, I opened the door fully and she entered the house and asked
"Where is she?"
"She is asleep"
"Oh....tell her that I was here as I am kinda in a hurry".
She handed over a few flowers to me and asked me to give it to Jessie and she left. I placed the flowers on the table and I got a call to my mobile and it was from mom.
"Hi ma!"
"Hi benny, how have you been?"
"Doing well until now but I miss you..."
"Aww....I miss you too. I gotta tell you something and please don't tell this to Jessie".
"Ok..."
"Ms.Eileen and I are boarding a flight to San Francisco now"
"What?! Are you serious?"
"Yes....we got a week away from work so we planned to give a short visit"
"That's amazing!"
"Ok I am hanging up now....will try to call you back later"
"Ok bye ma"
"Bye!"

I am feeling really happy now as I finally get to see mother after so many days. Though I have gotten used to her leaving for so many days, it feels happy like the very first time when I hear that she is coming back. So now all I have to do is not open my big huge mouth and tell Jessie that her mother is going to be here by late evening. I heard Jessica say,
"Benny?" I immediately walked into the room and said,
"Yes...."
"Can you call Ash, please?"
"Sure...just a sec"
Saying this, I went and got the mobile and called Ashley and gave the phone to Jessie. She spoke to Ashley for a while and I entered the room when she had put down the phone. She almost had tears in her eyes and she said,
"She is moving away to Boston, Benny"
"When?"
"She won't be able to return back here.....she is going to stay there"
"Oh...."
"What about Alex? How will he even take this?"
"That too is there"
"The one best friend I had...."
Saying this, she started to cry....
I went and hugged her and said that they could always stay in touch like usual.

A few hours later...

I heard the knock on the door and it was our mothers. I just peeped into the room to see what Jessie was doing and she was reading her book. I went and opened the door and both of them came in. Ms.Eileen walked in with a bouquet of lavenders and she went into the room like usual and Jessie couldn't believe what she just saw... she was dumbfounded and didn't say a single word and Ms.Eileen humorously went and waved her hand in front of her eyes and said
"Hello? Anyone there?"
"MA!!!!!"
Both of them hugged and all the four of us were there together and it was an atmosphere full of happiness and  joy....everyone was so happy and it was so good to look at .......

10 Years later....

I am finally meeting up with Ashley after so many years. I am so excited as she will be coming over today and she told me she has something really important to tell me.
I got a call and it was Ash.
"Hi Jessie, I am in the lane where your house is and I am confused where your house is"
"Ok so you see a house that is painted beige?"
"There are two such houses"
"The one with more number of plants and-"
"An entrance which has an arch made of stone?"
"Yes..."
So I open the door and run towards the gate and I went and hugged Ash.

It has been TEN LONG YEARS since I have seen her. We went in and spoke about how things have been all these years and she told me that she is a doctor and I told her that I was able to follow my passion of interior designing and to remind her, I said,
"You told me you have something important to tell...."
"Ya and about that....will you be my bridesmaid?"
I jumped to the ceiling with joy as my BFF is getting married💍!!!!!
"Of course! So who is he"
"Alex"
"Oh my! You are getting married to your teenage love! That's so cool...
How did both of you work it out?"
"When I shifted to Boston, we became just casual friends and years passed by and we weren't much in touch. I shifted to Vegas for around three months for a job and on a casual day, when I was at Starbucks ordering a coffee, both of us met for the very first time after so many years....
We started hanging out more often and one fine day, when we went out for dinner, he was on his knees and asked me to marry him and instead of giving him an answer, I kissed him and here we are!😄"
"Awwww......that's so sweet!"
"So how are you and Chris?"

When I asked this question to Jessica, happiness replaced gloom and the smile on her face soon faded away...she stood up palely and walked towards the window and stood there. She was looking outside and said, "Time changes away people along with it, Ash...."
