Lavenders?

I went in locked the door after me. I was leaning to the door and my thoughts were revolving around Chris- How he looks into my eyes, how he flirts with me, how he wipes away anything that makes me feel bad and how he stands by my side, no matter what.
"So that's about Chris again...."
My mom came down from her room, from the stairs and she saw me leaning to the door, looking nowhere and smiling to myself like a total idiot.
"Ma...."
"Yes dear, come sit on the couch".
I lifted my backpack that was at the door, tossed it into the sofa and went sat beside my mother on the couch. She was waiting there with bright eyes and when I sat there, she looked at me and said, "You were saying...."
I sighed and said, "Ma, I think I am falling in love with him. Every single thing he does sets my soul on fire. The way he talks to me, the way he looks at me- EVERYTHING."
"That's how I felt when I met your father..."
"Really? When did you guys meet?"
"Well...it all started 5 years before our marriage......we were in the same workplace and both of us had to go to Paris for a 3 day trip together and...."
"And....."
"And I had only thought I will get back the bags I took there but instead, it was we who got back our bags from there".
"Oh....how did dad propose to you ma?"
"He proposed to me on the top of the Eiffel Tower, Baby".
"Umm.... so sorry I reminded you of him".
"It's all ok baby.....my heart shall always be heavy for having lost him but I shall always be bold and wear a smile for he always shall remain in my heart until it goes on".
I woke up and went into my room. I was still into what my mom said....She was so strong from within and loved my dad so much. I felt that's the way you define- True Love. Though she had a wound that wouldn't fade away forever, she only thought about how to smile with the pain. She was my true inspiration for life. Ash called me and I said, "Hello?"
"Hi gurrllll!"
"Oh...what's that excitement for?"
"Alex proposed to me today".
"When, where and how?"
"When I went to school, he had a rose in his hand and he told those magical words and I said yes....we went out of school and had lunch together at a restaurant".
"Oh...that's why I didn't find you at school...I see...."
"And we kinda made out..."
"YOU DID WHAT!!!!! OMG, Ash! I am so happy for you!!!!"
"Thanks though".

So I put down the call and I got a call from Chris. I picked it up and said, "Hey Chris! Sup!"
"Hi Ashley, I need your help with something...."

11th of August

"Happy birthday baby!!!!"
"Thanks mom!"
So today is my birthday. I have been waiting for it from such a long time and here it goes! I haven't received a text from Ash though....
I got ready and I opened the door and I found a bouquet of lavenders with a note:

Happy birthday!
Come to the church on the way to school....

This was so mysterious. Since the church was on the way, I walked to the church. I stood there near the gate and a young girl from behind said, "Is this Jessica?"
"Yes...."
"Well someone has left you a note".
Saying this she gave me the note and before I could ask who gave it, she was gone. I saw the note and it said:

Well....aren't you getting late for school? Hurry up!

Arrghh! I didn't come all the way for this. I went to school and I called Ash. She picked up and said, "Hi! I am a little busy....I will call you. You know what, let's meet in the cafeteria. Bye!"
Saying this she put down the call. She didn't remember and that made me feel bad. I went to school and headed to my locker and saw that someone had stuck a note on it saying:

So here you are! Well, don't get angry about Ashley...It is all what we planned. Anyway,turn back and you will see someone.

I saw back and Abigail was standing there. She held another bouquet of lavenders and said, "Happy birthday Jessica!"
There was a note attached to the bouquet and it said:

Hi Jessica!
Well happy birthday! I am the most idiotic person for I have been bullying someone like you. Hope I still have another chance with you.

There was something else written at the back and it said:

Woah! Unexpected huh! Now head to your class and I will meet you during lunch.

Seriously? All this to only meet me during lunch? Anyway it was time so I headed to class. As soon as I went in, I heard whoever was there screaming,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!!!"
I was shocked and I went in and Ash came running and hugged me and said, "Happy birthday Jessie! Love you so much.... look at the board".
I looked behind to the board and it was fully decorated and had the three words-
I Love You!
I turned and saw myself standing in the middle of a circle of lavenders with Chris on his knees with a rose in his hands. He looked at me and said,
"Happy birthday sunshine!
Well since the very moment I saw you, I felt my heart would slip away from its place and whenever you looked into my eyes, everything you uttered from those rose tinted lips of yours, I would feel so very weak in the knees. I don't know any sort of poetry but here is my proposal- Will you be my girlfriend?"
My heart started to pound and I said,
"Surer than ever!"
Everyone started to shout and Chris hugged me and my heart was buried into his chest. I could hear his heartbeat and felt like staying there forever- in his warm hug listening to his heart. After hugging me, he held my hands and said, "If it weren't for this classroom.....really!"

So we went and sat next to each other and before the teacher came in, we cleared all the lavenders and the board.

I started to feel a fresh feeling and it was a new one that was pleasant, fresh and at the same time, untamed. The way his lips curled into a breath taking smile shall remain in my mind forever. He whispered to me saying, "Shall we get out before ma'am comes?"
For the first time in my entire life, I felt like skipping school and my first time is getting made so memorable with my "boyfriend" by my side. We sneaked out of school and walked to the nearby restaurant. And it was the same restaurant then- in the rain, just the two of us....rings the bell?
"Well.....Jessie?"
"Ya..."
"Do you like me?"
What on earth is running on this guy's head. I grabbed him into a kiss and I smiled and said, "Does this explain enough?"
He was smiling and we went into the restaurant and we saw someone unexpected, rather felt that they shouldn't be here.....
