"Ok bye Ash, will be back tomorrow at 6 o'clock in the evening"
"Ba-bye!"
So I am heading to my actual home, where my parents still live. It is unbelievable that it has already been a week since I moved out. I took a cab and went there and if you have to know, I haven't told my parents that I will be coming here today. I went and knocked on the door and my mom opened the door. She was so surprised that she asked me, "What are you doing here?!"
"Getting into my actual home, maybe?"
My mom gave me a warm and welcoming hug and I went to the living area to see dad reading the newspaper and watching the news on the TV at the same time. He didn't notice I went in so I said, "Mom, can we watch something else on TV other than hearing these reporters shout all day on TV?"
"Oh hi Jessie! Didn't notice you, when were you here?"
"Like five minutes ago?"
"Come sit here"
I went and sat beside my dad and he put his hand on my shoulder and I said, "So how has my dodo been doing since the time I left?"
Oh and BTW, I call my dad dodo for god knows why but it is just fun calling him that way...
"Dodo has been doing good, but how has my puppy been doing?"
"I am kinda getting adjusted now but I still miss you guys so badly..."
"I wasn't talking about you....how has Lime been doing?"
"Dad!"
"Ok ok, sorry".
He made this sad face that nearly melted me away and I said, "Aww...wait, Lime!?"
My mom had an eye on him as she doesn't want him to eat away her plants so she said, "He is here in the garden".
"Ok ma!"
My dad woke up from the couch and went into his room while my mom got Lime to the hall.
"So how have you been, Jessie?"
"Everything is okay but I miss you guys..."
"We miss you too honey! The house sounds so quiet and empty without you and of course, without Lime"
Dad came out of his room and he was dressed in his formals and he said, "Ok Eileen, I will get going now..."
I said, "Where?"
"So sorry I couldn't stay at home today, baby. I have work and I promise I will be back by evening".
"Ok dad, bye!"
He drove off to his office in his car and mom and I are alone at home.
"So how have things been at school?"
"Everything is going really well and my grades are also improving step by step and I am really happy about all this...."
"That's great news Jessie...How has Ashley been"
"Well...she has been a great person to stay with and she has started dating now...."
"Oh...who is it?"
"There is this guy named Alex and both of them like each other and they are just working out on it"
"That's good news...."
"I don't know if I should be telling this but... I also kinda like a guy"
"Really? Well, who is that Prince Charming my daughter has laid her eyes on?"

Well, thinking why my mom is speaking to me like this, she is just like my Go-To person in any matter and she is really open minded and keeps things confidential that makes me speak anything I want with her and I feel my secrets are safe with her.

" His name is Chris and he is Alex's best friend"
"Oh..."
"I have hanged out with him once when both Alex and Ashley went out on a date"
"Oh that's good news to hear to..."
So she went off to prepare lunch and I was watching TV when there was a call to the land line.
"Jessie, can you pick it up for me baby?"
"Ya sure mom".
I went and picked it up and said,
"Hello?"
"Who is this!"
"I am Jessica and who is this on the other side?"
"I am officer John speaking and how are you related to Mr.Williams?"
"He is my father and what's the matter?"
"Mr. William met with an accident this morning and he is...."
"What On Earth Are You Saying?"
"What happen Jessie?"
I gave the phone to my mother and she said,"Hello?"
"Can I know how you are related to Mr.Williams?"
"He is my husband".
"Well Miss, I don't know how to break this out to you but....Mr.Williams met with an accident this morning and he is....."
My mom broke down into tears and she said, "Where can we see him?"in a shaking voice.
The officer on phone said, "Come near the Golden Gate Bridge and you will see us there".
"Ok thank you".
My mom put down the phone and she was crying standing at the same place. Seeing that, I ran to my mother and hugged her and I broke down into tears and started to cry.
"T-take the house keys Jessica. Let's leave"
We booked a cab from home and headed to the place where the officer told us he will be. We went to the bridge and we saw that dad's car was smashed against the bridge and the officer came to us and said, "This must be Ms.Eileen, right?"
"Yes".
"The body has been taken out and it is given for autopsy and you will get the body by evening".
"But h-how did this happen,officer?"
"His car was dashed by another car and both the car owners are dead...."
My mom had still been crying a lot and we went back home after that. We forgot to even have lunch as the news itself had become indigestible to both of us. I got a call from Ash and I picked it up,
"H-Hello?"
"Hi Jessie! How hav- wait, are you crying?"
".........."
"What happen Jessie?"
"My father passed away Ash"
"How, when and why? I will be there in 10 ok?"
"No no, Ash. Please don't break your date for me".
"I am coming".
She came home along with Alex and I went and opened the door. She hugged me and said, "Come let's get in"
Both of them asked, "How did this happen?"
"This morning he met with a car accident and..."
"Oh... I am so sorry,Jessie. Oh hello Ms. Eileen. I am so sorry about what has happen".
There was another call to the land line and it was to inform us that the body is at the cemetery. We all went to there and they buried him into the Earth. Alex has informed Chris about all this and he came directly to the cemetery and by then, the cremation was done and everyone had left. He came and gave me a warm hug and went and spoke to my mother. I went to my mother while she was talking to Chris and I said, "Ma, I don't want to be here nor do I want to go home. I am just going to go out and get some air..."
I walked away from the cemetery the next moment.

"Ms.Eileen, can I know where she is going?"
"She will only go to one place and that is....
