To Her....

His presence next to me meant the entire world to me. The feeling when both of us kissed was like I won over the entire world. He said, "I am sorr-"
I didn't want those words to even come out, so I just closed his mouth and said, "No need to explain at all...I know what happen. I am sorry".
I badly NEEDED that warmth from his hug. So, I went and hugged him and I got to know that my head still gets buried into his chest, near the heart and I can hear his heart beating. His caring arms were wrapped around me with his chin touching my forehead. His hug was something so enchanting that though I didn't tell anyone about what I was internally feeling, that hug healed the wounds of my heart. I never told anyone about it as I didn't want to spoil the happy and blissful environment. He looked at my neck and said,
"Is that the pendant I gave you?"
"It's the pendant you dropped in the jacket you gave me for me to discover".
He kissed me on the forehead and we walked to the living area and I went and opened the window and the cool evening breeze hit my face. He came near me and both of us sat on the window sill with our legs outside. There was complete silence-a silence that spoke out the feelings of love. I could feel his fingers curling onto my hand and I looked at him into those beautiful glass eyes. He said, "So how have you been, Jessie?"
I said, "Happy as I could do what I always dreamt of"
"So you are an interior designer?"
"Ya... how about you, Benny?"
"Wait...did you just say Benny?"
"Yes! You are only my Benny, get that?"
Saying this, I hugged him and he said, "As you wish, princess".

He told me about how he has been doing and he also told me that he is a doctor. We were talking and his phone rang. He went and spoke to the person who called and after he took the call, he came to me and said, "Jessie, hurry up! We need to get to the hospital. I have an emergency".
"Oh ok".

We locked the doors and got seated in the car. He asked me to call Ash and Alex and inform them that we are heading to the hospital. I called them and said,
"Hey guys! Sorry, we won't be able to join for the rest of the party as Chris has an emergency to deal with and we are heading to the hospital".
Both Ash and Alex were on the line and Ash said, "Wait....did you just say 'we'?"
"Yes...I promise I will give you all the details later".
"Ok, bye! And congratulations on your patch up!😄"
"Bye!"

We were at the hospital and we went in. He showed me the way to his desk and said, "Stay here". Saying this, he looked into the reports the nurse had in her hands as he walked out and he pulled the door after he left. I was left alone in the room at his desk and even my phone was out of charge. I was looking around when I saw a draw closed with one part of a letter out. I opened the drawer to put it in and I saw something.....

There was a picture of him and me from the 10th grade and I got curious and I took it. I saw that it was stuck on an envelope and I saw my handwriting on the envelope. So, I opened it and I saw that it was the first letter I wrote to him and as I had forgotten what I wrote so, I read it and it said,

Dear Chris,
The very time I saw you, my heart started to flutter- just like a butterfly. Every time I think of you, I start to smile and blush like a total idiot.
Whenever those blue eyes of yours look into mine, I feel that my world changes and I get teleported to a beautiful world with only-rainbows, flowers(more specifically lilies and lavenders🙃) and you. It feels so good, ok scratch that-It feels great to be with you and every time I hug you, I get buried into your chest. I can hear your heart and I internally start to dance to the rhythm of your heart. You just put my heart on fire every time you talk to me and.....
I Love You Chris!!!❤️

I smiled to myself and put the letter back in the draw and I was sitting there simply while he came in and said, "Jessie,  come here"
I went behind him and he took me near the operation theatre and the nurse got a baby wrapped in a blanket. He said, "To her..."
As soon as the nurse heard this, she came towards me and gave me the baby. The baby has its eyes closed and he said, "It's a girl. She was born around only 10 minutes ago. We gave her a bath and here she is now".
I said, "Did the mother see her?"
"Ya...she is getting admitted to a room now".
I still had the baby in my hand and she looked so cute and her hands and legs were so tiny and her beautiful eyes had minute eyelashes that could hardly be seen.

We headed to the room where her mother was admitted and she had gained strength enough to sit. Benny said to her, "Hello Mrs.Smith! How are you feeling?"
"I am feeling fine now".
After this, I headed to the mother and gave her baby to her and said, "Miss, you have a beautiful baby girl"
She smiled and I went and stood next to him. They were talking about the reports and she asked him to decide a name for her daughter as he was the reason for her to be alive. He looked at the baby and said, "How about Jessica?"
She said, "That's perfect! Well, if you don't mind, who is she?"
He said, "She is the most beautiful woman by looks and by heart who has entered my life".
My ears nearly burst when I heard this and she looked at me and said, "It must be her, right?"
He smiled and since it was time, we headed out of the hospital and we went into the parking place and I said, "Why don't we walk?"
We walked through the streets and went onto the Golden Gate Bridge. This was my favourite spot so we were walking slowly and I could feel Benny holding my hand and when I turned to look, I could feel my eyes pop out of my sockets...

He held a red coloured box in his hand and it had a ring in it. My hands were on my mouth that was open as I was shocked and he said, "Will you marry me?"
