"Where?"
"Did you forget we were going to a movie?"
"On my way!"

"Will tell you everything once I come there"
I went running to my place and Alex seemed to have been waiting since long. I said, "Shall we leave?"
"Of course, I have been waiting since like when".
We were walking and he said, "Where are you coming from?"
"Don't freak out-Jessie's place"
"At this hour! For what?! Don't tell me both of you______"
"Oh please. She wounded her shoulder and I went to check on her"
"Oooooh! When are you going to propose to her?"
"Sometime soon...."
"How about on her birthday? When is it"
"11th of August"
"That's just a week away...."
"I mean, we know we just like each other"
"Have you told her?!"
"I mean, the way she looks at me every time, the way she dissolves me with just her smile, the way she asked me are you okay when I climbed up to her window and told her I broke the ladder and the way she said wait before I left.... that just tells me that she has feelings for me".

"So that's going to be on her birthday"
"Yep...."

Monday morning
"Thank you so much Chris....that's so sweet of you"
"No problem at all, Ms.Eileen"
"She is going to be here. Just give her two minutes"
"Sure"
I was sitting on the couch with my backpack and Jessie came down the stairs in her uniform along with a toast in her hand.
"Ma, please a little more Nutella....you never put enough on the bre-
Oh Hi, Chris! So sorry didn't notice you"
"No more Jessica!Off to school now."
"Fine Bye ma! Have a great day".
"Bye kids"
We went out of the house and I said, "You have a beautiful garden!"
"Thanks. It is usually a lot more beautiful when lavenders are here, Benny. Those are my favourite type of flowers".
"What did you just call me?!"
"Benny. You were the one who told the ones who were 'dear' to you call you that way...."
"Ok...."
We were walking to school and we got into the campus. Jessica was talking to me while I noticed Abigail trying to plot something idiotic. She tried to make Jessica fall but I made her taste her own medicine. I put my leg in her way and the response I got was way too unexpected....

"Abigail, are you Ok? Let me help you to the doctor".
Jessie said, "Chris, help me take her to the doctor".
So I had to help that idiot who didn't deserve Jessie's concern. We took her to the doctor and left her on the bed in that room.

Why is Jessica helping me when all I do is bully her? She could have just stood and laughed at me but what she did was....strange.
Maybe it is just me who thinks this way.....

"Why did you help Abigail?"
"Cause she fell down....."
"Stupid, I meant why would you help someone who treats you like that?"
"Because I don't want to be her. Just because she is a jerk doesn't mean I have to be one...."
"You are way too....."
"Way too....what?"
"Sweet and polite to even those who don't deserve it...."
"Anyway, what is your first class?"
"Math".
"I also have math".
"So shall we do then".
"Ya, sure. Wonder what Ash has now".
"Science"
"How do you know?"
"Alex also has science so...."
"Ohh...Their date is today right?"
"Ya...."
So we went to the class and Ms.Anna shouted at us saying, "WHY ARE YOU LATE TO MY CLASS? WHERE HAVE YOU BOTH BEEN?"
"Ma'am, actually Abigail fell down in the corridor and we helped her to the nurse".
"Get in and don't give me these excuses".
Jessica and I went to the last bench and we sat there.
"So children, I was telling you we will be doing the Pythagoras Theorem.
So in a right angled triangle...."

There she starts again! I mean, why does math have to be a nightmare in every student's life. It is just useful in killing your brain cells and these teachers say that these concepts have real life uses for God himself must know where...

I didn't understand a single thing what she is explaining and I quickly grabbed a pencil and wrote on Jessie'sbook, "Did you understand what she has been teaching since the past three classes?"
She read it and wrote, "Yes...."
I finally found someone who can teach me this damm lesson and I wrote, "Can you please teach it to me later?"
"Sure but that doesn't mean you can doze off right now".

So nothing much happen after that. After math, we went out of class and Jessica said, "What do you have next?"
"French. How about you!"
"Ugh! Even you aren't going to be there."
"But what do you have!"
"English".
"I thought you liked it..."
"Not that way....just not in a mood to go to class. Anyway see you during lunch".
She walked in the most unwilling way and I went to my French class. The teacher was on leave so guess what...
We had yet another math class now!!
I told the teacher that I had headache and she asked me if I want to go to the nurse but I said no as only people who have actual problems go there. I put my head on my desk and I soon found myself in deep sleep.

"Benny? Are you ok?"
I opened my eyes and I saw Jessica. She said, "Is your head paining way too much?"
"No...."
"Oh ok....so that's why I found you sleeping for such a long time".
"Really....I am fine. I just told her that I had a headache so that I could skip class".
"You idiot! You got me so worried. I asked Alex where you were and he told me you weren't with him and he told me that you were lying down here".
She said that and stormed away....did she just say she got worried?

I went to the cafeteria and I saw her. She was along with Alex and Ashley. I went and sat over there and Alex said, "How did your pretending go on?"
"Well, she allowed me to sleep but some others were really worried".
She immediately started to blush. There was nothing much for the rest of the day and while going home, I had to take Jessica along with me according to what my mother told. While walking home, she said, "Umm...Chris, can we please go to the cemetery? I feel like seeing him...."
"Sure".
We walked to the cemetery and she stopped by a flower shop. She bought lavenders and I said, "Your father likes lavenders?"
"Yeah....he just loved them as much I do".
Ok....So she likes lavenders. Noted.

She went to his grave, places the lavenders there. She kneeled on her knees and closed her eyes. She had her hands joined and her sweatshirt was covering her knuckles. She never chanted anything or stuff like that and she was just remembering him. She looked so calm and composed when she was remembering her father. She opened her eyes, stood up and dusted her shirt and said, "Let's leave...."
We walked home in silence and we reached. She said, "Bye!"
"Bye!"
Saying this, I turned and was heading home. Jessica called me and said, "Chris!"
I turned and said, "Yes?"
"Thank you so much for whatever you have been doing for me, Chris".
Saying this, she came and hugged me. I said, "Anything for you..."
